Neat little game :) For your first jam very nice!
Fun mechanic! Once I got the timing of the attacks down I was able to back up and swing to survive quite a few waves before it got me. 1 thing I would recommend is adding the controls on the game page, maybe underneath the lore about the butcher, while it is a bit intuitive to WASD and click to swing not every game is coded the same and it's nice to have that clarity.
A nice start to the game. You need to make the attacking more responsive, faster. The beginning flowers need to not hit as hard. Think Vampire.IO
It was fun, the controls worked good, and it didn't crash
Nice little game, had some issues with attacking but other then it was decent, nice job!
