Very fun little game! I had fun while finishing it. The theme fits well and the overall aesthetic is pleasing.

The pacing is perfect: it gets quite challenging by end and I never felt bored while playing it.

The hitbox when you give characters drinks is a bit too small.

Developer

Thanks for playing! And thank you for the feedback about the small hitboxes. A few other players have also mentioned it to me. That was one of the issues that I noticed during development, but unfortunately couldn't fix in time.

Nice job. I liked the progression of levels. I was confused what the different colors meant but I didn't read the page description at first :)

Al 5 stars - great job for a solodev!

I like how simple the gameplay is and, even without tutorial, it's super clear what to do and what to expect. Everything looks pretty balanced and it'd be interesting to see what could you do with more resources. Is there anything you couldn't add during the jam?

Developer

Thanks for playing!

There were a bunch of things that I wanted to add had I more time, mostly to improve accessibility:

  • Audio settings.
  • Something beyond color to differentiate the customers. Maybe different symbols or completely different sprites.
  • Clicking instead of dragging to assign seats and serve drinks.
  • Difficulty levels.

Maybe if I started the jam a day or two earlier I would have gotten to implement a few of these, but I'm happy with what I was able to accomplish ☺️.

why they dont stand up and get their beverage by themselfs ;-; half way trough i was spending time argueing about that and then i was thinking again, ohh yea its a netcafe not a working place.... nice game

Fun while also still being challenging! I appreciated how it lets you repeat the day when you fail, rather than making you go back to the start. The audio adds a lot to the ambience :) The click + drag could be a little unwieldy at times, but I was still able to get through to the end!

Very nice theme, the sounds effects are nice and the BGM is really nice too. Great Job Lacuna! Keep up the great work!

Loved it! With more levels this would absolutely be the kind of game I devote hours to. Struggled a bit to drag the tea and coffee to the customers using my laptop trackpad but that's more of a skill issue than a developer issue LOL

fun! I it got challenging and fun once the tea and coffee came in. Would be cool to play more with a more drawn out progression and can see this being developed! Really satisfying to click everything around haha. Good stuff!

Nice game :D I wasn't sure about the gameplay at first, but I was really getting into it by level 3. Nice graphics as well - simple but effective.

I had a great time playing this! Exactly my kind of game. I was able to make it to the end, and I only got frazzled to the point of defeat once in Day 3. I like that I didn't have to start all the way back at Level 1. This was a great idea for a game jam. Simple, the art was cute, the audio really added to the feel. Loved it!

Had fun over all.

A solid game, and you managed to capture the flash game vibe of the original. The pixel art in this is fun too.

This is pretty fun!  It gets quite frantic by the end, but my cool and calm personality held it together and I seated everyone and served almost everyone the tea or coffee they wanted
