I was so scared playing this! It gave me a really weird vibe. Good job!

I really like the mood of this.

The dark, pixelated graphics, the echoing footsteps, and the changes in lighting.

I just would have loved to fight back a bit at the end =)

Great game jam entry!

Great atmosphere! I like that the only SFX are your footsteps, I think it works really well.

Is there any way to get past the floating head? I tried squeezing past him and running back up the stairs but both times he got my ass.

Thank you!

And no, there is no escape ;)

I liked the concept of descending and was scared knowing something was coming but not knowing what was coming was really scary. Overall good experience but could have a bit more to the floors everything else is pretty good.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback. We were thinking about adding more floors, but the game was already starting to behave poorly and lag at the beginning, so I didn't dare add more floors because I didn't know why the game was lagging XD

Wish you luck

Hi, i didnt really understand this game. I was walking down for a while and had a bug where i couldnt move my camera. all i met was some face on the wall and yellow glowy spot on the floor? and then died from something that i didnt even see. i think it takes a bit too long for the game to get interesting? i think the game is pretty good and art is great

Hey, the game is supposed to be a horror game. It's weird you couldn't move your camera, did you play fullscreen, in browser, what platform? There are a lot of events in the game that you probably missed somehow, and I wonder why. Did you play with headphones, keyboard and mouse? It's recommended to experience the game the best. We've playtested ourselves and with some friends and we always had some spooky moments, especially friends who didn't know what to expect at all - they were scared of everything and didn't want to go down. I'd be glad to hear your experience and know what's going on better to understand it better and not make such mistakes in the future!

maybe i wasnt lucky enough to face the events? i was playing in browser with fullscreen without headphones. good luck in your future projects

Well, we welcomed all players with a big sign "please use headphones for the best experience".
Also if you think you were unlucky enough to not get any events, go to settings and change "Amout of events" to "A LOT" and try again...

Really cool game! i wish the movement was a little bit faster, but love the graphics and sfx.
Good job!

Really interesting game! The first time I played it, I couldn't move the camera...I thought maybe it was a design choice haha. Made it pretty far without being able to turn the camera! :p

But after I died, I was able to rotate the camera, so I had to play it again for real!

Like maybe other players, the white skull got at floor 10 got me!

Great job! :)

Thanks! The bug with camera I think is because of browser version, and when it happens you have to click "Resume" in the menu to get the mouse captured again

67 mentioned SIX SEVEN SIX SEVEN

but in all seriousness I played it we had a blast playing it. We got a bit confused at the end, we just fell in a hole and didn’t know what to do.

Good job!

It's 087 zero-eight-seven :D

Thanks for playing, I think you got one of the rare bugs where the end-game event did bug out to you and appeared ABOVE, instead of below... Which is sad, but we only noticed that after the game was live and submitted!

If you wanna see it I recommend going to settings and changing the "amount of events" to "A LOT" and see what happens :)

Visuals are cool! It gets a bit repetitive after a few floors without anything happening, but when something different finally happens, it becomes a lot more interesting because of that. I think adding a few more sounds, like the lights flickering, would help build tension and create a more intense atmosphere.

I remember seeing a game about scp-087 before similar to this one. I like the visuals and I wish there was some music/ambience too. At around floor 10 there's a white head that just kills me, I don't know if you can avoid it somehow or is it supposed end the game.

Developer

Thanks for playing. Regarding the ending, you can reach the 17th floor, where you'll fall down. But in any case, there's only one "game over" ending
