Seriously impressed by the art in this game, and the inclusion of some pretty interesting item descriptions/characters. It wasn't super clear to me what the tells were for real/fake items and the purpose of the map scene, but I still greatly enjoyed randomly guessing to try and make rent~

I really liked the concept here and played a few rounds, found it hard to get into it / figure out a good strategy. is there anything that gives away some good info in the game? also, just out of curiosity, was there a particular reason you guys used godot 3?

in any case, great contribution and thanks for uploading!

The artwork is so good! And the descriptions of the mysterious items intrigued me as well. But I didn't know what I was doing. Is there a deduction element to identify the fake items before selling them? I just did whatever and hoped for the best outcome

The graphics are amazing, I love the vibes but Its kindof not clear whether your actions have consequences or not to be honest, maybe hint it but overall great game.

Very nice graphics. But I don’t understand how you’re supposed to know which items you’re supposed to buy and for which price. And how to spot fakes. It seems like I have no agency and it’s all just RNG.

I like that it’s so retro you even use Godot 3.6 :)

Your art is amazing! And I like the setup of your game.

Maybe switch to a longer music loop? It gets a bit repetitive quite fast =)

Enjoyed playing it! Congrats on submitting a complete game.

Really good art, I wish there was an easier way to determine what objects were fake... I didn't really feel like my input mattered.

Definitely an interesting idea, but I didn't feel like my choices did much. There wasn't really a clear way to decide if things were real or fake.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Maybe I’ll add hints after the jam so it’s easier to spot fakes.
