Wow, one of my favorite. Absolutely peak gameplay, it felt like some active time puzzles, you even managed to tell a little story with all the characters, I'm out of words on this one. Very cool art and audio, excellent stunning work and design for 10 days. 0_0
Managed to get 5 stars on all levels! (Okay, except one 🫣)
My ONLY complain would be that in the final levels the stars are black I don't know why.
Except that I just had so much fun, the mechanics are so well used, it could definitely work as full game with more levels and variations of the mechanics. Insanely cool game, congrats.
Thanks so much! That the stars are black is a bug, if you will - we ran out of time to implement a proper win condition for those two levels ^^;
When I played this game, I was totally hooked! It gives me that cool vibe from games back in 2010s.
I’m noticing a lot of similarities between yalls game and our own… which thanks for playing by the way!
If I have one complaint it’s that I found it very difficult to click and drag signals onto the ships, I would much prefer to have a hotkeys for each direction to automatically pick it up and then click to drop, similar to RTS games.
Overall awesome game!!! I love the cutscenes, character art, dialogue, everything! Excellent job!!
This game was really fun! I was surprised that there was more and more features the further I went though the levels. I do wish there was a level select though as I pressed escape twice by accident and went back to level 1 ;w;
Had an absolute blast with this one! Pleasing visuals, the controls were intuitive, and the pacing introducing the new mechanics felt just right. I was also pleasantly surprised and impressed by the way the narrative developed, seeing characters recur and feeling the tension building between the different factions. This is top-tier game jam material!
Good game. There were some times this game felt hectic with how the level design can be but i generally enjoyed it
I had fun with this! :3
I just wish there were hotkeys to snap a direction to the mouse cursor, so I could speed up the commands :3
Otherwise, good stuff!! :3
You guys should consider putting this out on steam! ha! but seriously, with a little polish and accessibility, this just felt like a game I would play on my tablet or on a quiet evening after work! Great job! Great interpretation of the theme, simple premise, and importantly, fun to play! Thanks for the game guys!
That is some really high praise, thanks so much <3
Enjoyed this a lot! The characters in this are great, I like how the game kept adding more mechanics and story with every level.
i really like the story!
i also really like the character profile! i think theyre really cute
gameplay is also funXD
i love the fisherman and the runaway lover! the finale was also fun XD
great job sailors!
ohh, also i really like the wordplay for the name hehe
Thanks a lot for your comment and playing the game to the end! :D It's heartening to see people actually make it to the end - we were afraid some of the levels may be a bit too tough to do it n.n
I absolutely loved this game!
It was super intuitive to play and super charming. I couldn't believe just how much was packed into it. Something new was introduced each level that kept the game fresh and challenging. I didn't expect such a finale! Such great work, and massive props to your whole team!
The name is such a forked-tongue twister, though.
I keep wanting to say "of course of course" rather than "off course of course".
Other fluffy dragons beware. o_o;
Thanks a lot for your kind words! We spend most of the time making the whole toolsret and then at the end created the levels with it, and at times it felt like we maybe made too many things haha. We had ideas for torpedos, automated attacks and all kinds of other things initially but had to pull a ripcord at some point to get to actually making levels ^^
Fluffy dragons are also allowed to use the alternative title "That time I got reincarnated as a lightship captain in a world on the brink of war"
