alright I admit defeat, is there a "win condition"? I did a couple runs and tried my best to put down guesses for all words, but I don't see a solution? I was trying to attach numbers to words, but still no luck
I love this premise, and this really scratches my puzzle solving itch, but I am not finding any way to confirm if I have anything right XD
You guys should consider putting this out on steam! ha! but seriously, with a little polish and accessibility, this just felt like a game I would play on my tablet or on a quiet evening after work! I was hosting/commentating in a livestream where my friend played this game, and I really wanted to come play this game specifically on my own because I love little games like this! heavily reminded of mini motorways and mini metro, could easily look at those to see what they did that worked so well for them!
I did get a bit confused that the trains at the stations also could be collided into! but outside of that small frustration, LOVED IT! using color for information, lets me (the player) map out the routes mentally and quickly double check myself, but a lack of "lines" showing where each train would go, meant I have to keep cross checking as new trains come on the screen, and I actually really enjoyed that! thank you for this little gem!
We talked a bout this game in our livestream quit a bit, but the main thing that came up, was it feels limited by the engine (DON'T LET THAT STOP YOU THOUGH, USE WHATEVER YOU LIKE, AND CONTINUE TO DO COOL THINGS WITH IT) noting the slow cursor or using the proot's head as a selector in the scene that follow the computer screen XD. Great concept for a game, if this was fleshed out into a full game I think it would do really well, a mix of horror and routine makes for a reliably good (and for good reason) horror game that's fun to watch or play! Love anything that reminds me of Outer Wilds, and this does it in such a good way! Please do more games in the future! or even expand this one out if you want! I kindof wish ya had done a longer track or just less loud of one for the main looping audio for the signals, but otherwise, Great idea, Great execution, and definitely on theme! This game stood out to me, and I worry if I get too far into criticisms, my love for the game won't shine through anymore. Needs some background music, something somber I would expect. the gameplay is innovative but would have been neat if you had to get more exact once you zoomed in? It's no small feat to get compared to something like Outer Wilds though, so great job! and thank you for this little gem!
You definitely nailed the theme! I must admit the scope here feels small even for a game jam game? Don't be afraid to at least grab some royalty free music out there, people pour their hearts into makeing music! there were also people asking to help make music in the discord during the jam! love the art to bits, and what a cute concept! I ask that you consider doing more, or teaming up with others because I love this and wish there was more to it! I promise this is from a desire to see your creativity shine more, because this little game proves to me you definitely have creativity! <3

I will try not to critique much, as this feels like it was done quick, and without a lot of experience (I COULD BE WRONG) but regardless of experience, consider grabbing some royalty free music out there, people pour their hearts into it, but also consider enlisting the help of other people from the jam! I saw people asking to make music for games, why not let them have a go? I like the color codeing of the enemies, otherwise they would have been very difficult to understand without a lot of observation!
From the little taps of the character's jumps, to the amazing use of contrast between neons and dark greys, this stands out to me. It feels good. it feels polished. it feels like a full game XD. I wish this game all the luck because it deserves it! little to critique, it's a little difficult, but many platformers of this style are, so not really a bad thing in my eyes. a lot of cute ideas around the use of the "neon layers" kind of blown away by this entry and it's polish. if you aren't making games for a living already, what are you waiting for? You've clearly got more than enough talent, especially putting this together in under 10 days... Huge congratulations and a massive thank you for letting us play this!
Not much to talk about here for me, YOU MADE A GAME! I would suggest adding more content and story if you wanted to sell this, but otherwise, you did it! cute style that grew on me quickly, puzzles that require the player to watch behavior and learn from it, simple platforming. Thank you for makeing this!
I imagine there won't be a lot of feedback here, but I'll explain why just incase, it's clear what this is inspired by, and it got a smile from myself. I will encourage attempting to add functionality to the game such as, a restart/retry button on the "game over" screen. also part of what fnaf did to alert it's players to their mistake, was saving the "jumpscares" for a return to the main view, showing the player that the threat came from that view, and not from the cameras directly. Notoriously the original foxy was triggered to jumpscare when you looked at the hallway camera, that also gave you a chance to react before getting game over'd
I'm sure it doesn't need to be said, but the background photos don't seem to give much context to where or when danger is coming, or if the information they hold is even relevant? try to have a clear indication of the urgency of information, and also how it correlates to actions the player needs to take. Fnaf solved this by the cameras being tied to a "map" and closeness to the "office" was the urgency, and the action taken related to the "side" the threat was seen. however you don't have to follow that formula, you could find other ways to indicate urgency, and ways to indicate what action needs to be taken, for a game jam I would actually encourage just popping onto the screen "go to the shock screen!" or "leave the cameras!" to give a quick indication of what needs to be done, without even needing to tweak the behavior of the game.

Thank you so much for this. Please understand criticism is purely out of our hearts desire to have more games that could change the world. Writing is a CLEAR strong point for this game, and likely it's creator, so don't be afraid to go find some royalty free music out there. the internet is here, and there are people who pour their souls into assets we can use for games like these. with some music and extremely simple sound effects, you can turn a tiny game like this, into something I would share with everyone I know. (I genuinely would too) the art and platforming are simple, but perfect in my opinion, because they set a tone, of someone who isn't focused on the sea around them, but is just pushing forward and upwards, trying to reach the signals of the thing that matters most to them. I would honestly suggest takeing some time to go through some royalty free music/sounds, maybe adding a small credits/game over page at the end, and then you could honestly sell this if you so choose to, but that is how close it is to a complete game, and I desire to see that.

Talked about this over livestream already, but you've nailed this!!!! The critique I will harp on is remember gamers are dumb! we if at all possible, make your "tutorial" overly direct, the initial experience not realizing terminate was a command sucked a lot XD, but once I got that figured out, it was great! the other comments here seem to touch on having a simmular issue with abilities, so likely a UI element showing possible commands that can easily be glanced at at all times would help a lot. but going forward just try to leave time to test and more importantly, have someone playtest the game to give quick feedback on issues like these where it's obvious to a player but not to the dev X3
All of that said, you're that close to a game that would likely do well outside of a jam. Great job!
