Hi!

I’m looking for one 2D production artist to collaborate on One More Window,

a compact narrative strategy game currently being developed in Godot 4.

ABOUT THE GAME

One More Window takes place inside one old apartment building during a severe

winter blackout.

The player has exactly three emergency power relays. Moving them between

circuits changes warmth, safe routes, household tools, communication and the

opportunities residents have to help one another.

Residents are not controlled like units. The player creates short windows of

opportunity, and the residents respond according to their own needs, abilities

and relationships.

The intended release scope is deliberately small:

• one apartment building

• approximately five main residents

• a few authored scenarios

• around 1–2 hours of gameplay

• target release around December 2026

VISUAL DIRECTION

I’m looking for stylized non-pixel 2D art with:

• readable side-view apartment rooms

• grounded human silhouettes

• simple reusable character poses

• subtle cut-paper or hand-painted texture

• warm amber powered interiors

• cold blue-grey blackout states

• separate environment, character and lighting layers

• strong readability at gameplay distance

The intended style is not:

• pixel art

• anime

• photorealism

• horror or cyberpunk

• highly detailed dollhouse art

• generic mobile-game artwork.

FIRST COLLABORATION MILESTONE

I am not asking someone to produce the entire game immediately.

I would like to begin with one small, real production package:

• one apartment room

• one resident

• 2–3 readable poses

• powered and blackout lighting versions

• separated layers suitable for implementation in Godot

No custom unpaid audition is required. I will discuss the exact package before any work begins.

ARRANGEMENT

There is currently no upfront art budget.

The selected artist would:

• receive clear and prominent credits

• retain permission to show the work in their portfolio

• be credited in relevant promotional material

• agree on game-usage rights in writing

  taking on additional production work

I understand that this structure is not suitable for every artist, so I want

to keep the scope and expectations transparent.

You do not need to create new artwork to apply.

Thank you!
