Genius Title. Drew me right in. The game itself is more like a proof-of concept, and man, it sure does prove itself. Combining the different layers 2d / 3d is a nice touch, kinda like a progression. It's short, and audio practically nonexistent, but still manages to deliver a fitting retro vibe. How do you do it? Impressive. Would play more of this.

Interesting concept. The shout is pretty underwhelming and isn’t worth the speed debuff when you get close to characters.

The ending section was an cool transition, but could have used an ending screen or something.

Developer

The shout eventually turned more into a save against the debuff rather than an 'attack'. But agreed, I really wanted more in the ending but just didn't have enough time and experience to make it more interesting

It's harder than it looks, but that's good :) I had fun!

Nice idea, it took me a few tries to understand the mechanics… which were spot on.

Interesting game with a unique twist, nice job

Social distancing simulator!

I did like how your personal space increases over time, though i think maybe the shout needs to be a little more powerful. This was fun!

The idea was really good and personal space invaders is such a good title the only thing I had difficulty with was figuring out that the people couldnt go in my area I thought I couldnt touch them but thats probably just me, great game.

Developer

Fair point, I only put up a bit of text and made the red square a bit brighter when people are too close. But anytime I hear some comment regarding it makes me realise I should be even more obvious in the communicating the core game mechanics. Thanks for the feedback :)

Those yellow guys were a bit of a personal 'pace invader hehe

lolz .... I know someone who this is their game, they can't stand when people come up and talk to them.

I love the concept.

Fun concept! Don't quite see the parallels between this and space invaders (other than the name), but it still feels very retro.

Upon reading the title the first thing I thought of was "I gave birth to twin wire hangovers" due to the overlap of the AJJ song of the same name. While playing I thought "boy this sure is hard" then the TV disappeared and i felt like i was in some crazy indie horror game! Really neat overall!

Great game!! Really funny concept.

I love the pun! Honestly you cought me off guard with the 3D, that was really cool. I was a bit confused and just quit after 30 seconds of black screen in the end. Nice one :)

Developer

I wanted to do more with the 3d but got disappointed with a lot of things i tried, so i cut it down to just end it like that

Submitted

Very cool! I'm not sure if there was meant to be more after the twist, but I was a bit let down that it did not explore the post-twist gameplay more.

like the twist , well done!
