Really good.

I'm a fan of clicker games, and this one definitely gets a thumbs-up from me. The progression felt much faster than what I'm used to, but I understand you wanted to showcase everything since it's a game jam entry.

The active skills are definitely what set the game apart. Being able to combo them, using two skills at once, made the gameplay really fun. My brain loves watching those numbers go up. :)

Thanks for enjoying the game and great job beating it! I'm glad the skills were fun to use.

The interface is the best presented thing I've tested in this jam. Dark theme, neon cyan, clean typography, the HIGH SCORE bar showing "138 / 1.00K TOKENS", and TOKENS / PER SECOND / PER CLICK counters up top. It genuinely looks like a real startup product.

The guided objectives ("NEXT OBJECTIVE, Step 2/4: Upgrade Manual Output") do a great tutorial job without ever feeling like a tutorial. I was never lost, which puts you ahead of almost every other entry I've played here. And the Slack style notifications are the best detail: Finance #token-ops announcing the automation fleet, then HR Wellness telling me my typing rate exceeds the recommended ergonomic limit. I laughed out loud. The upgrade names land too, Mechanical Keyboard into Used GPU into AI Model.

Barely any complaints. The one thing: the opening is slow at 1 token per click and it takes a while before the first automation unlocks, so starting at +2 per click would make the first minute less draggy. Related, an incremental rewards long sessions, but in a jam where people play five minutes per entry it might be worth speeding the curve up. If I had to bet on one entry for best presentation, it's this one.

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the gameplay, jokes, and vibes. I hear you regarding the initial start being slow, but I believe once you unlock an upgrade, it should speed things up.

Thanks for clicking!

Overall an excellent clicker and incremental game. I enjoyed playing it as well as the music fits with the vibes.

I was not clear about this line on the page, "Can you outperform your colleague" Where can I see my colleague's performance and compete with it?

Also when I click on any automation upgrade, my progress resets. I simply expected the progress to increase, not reset.

Good game! All the best!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! The "outperform your colleague" is more of a metaphor but I could improve the wording. I made upgrades spend your tokens so it's similar to most incremental games, while your lifetime tokens show your total.

Very satisfying and fun! I agree that it reminds me of Universal Paperclips.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'm a big fan of Universal Paperclips.

I got up to the 1.0B target and took a break; but I got some Universal Paperclips-style vibes which is always appreciated!

Whoa that's an achievement! I'm a big fan of Universal Paperclips as well.
