This game has the same qualities of professional arcade machine games. This game had a lot of research going into it and it shows. The controls were great to play, The difficulty scaled at a reasonable pace, the enemies were fun to deal with. I loved the sections where you have to gain speed to jump the bridge.

Confirmed:
Playing Donkey Kong and Mario Bros. for hours and hours on end counts as research

Very fun game! Love the character design and sprite work, and awesome touch with slow-mo jump over the edge

So cool! I got a score of 8150 on my 2nd try. I love that the cars also go over the highway ramps, and slo-mo jumping the gap at the end of sections is so unbelievably cool. I also LOVE the graphics, and the vibe, and the intro. It reminds me of Excitebike, which I used to play a bunch as a kid.

Glad it reminds you of Excitebike, that's very much my inspiration!

ASSESSMENT  FILED BY SDS SYSTEMS, SOFTWARE AUDIT DIVISION.

Your software was inspected on July 24, 2026 21:24 local time. The flow is coherent, the operator feedback loop is tight, and the overall experience successfully recreates the quarter-extraction architecture of the classic era,  a business model SDS Systems continues to admire. Our auditor cleared two terminal levels and certifies this as a COMPLETE DELIVERABLE, a distinction few facilities achieve within a jam-mandated timeline.

Minor findings for your next quarterly review: enemy fire-lane alignment occasionally deviates from stated coordinates. Our legal department notes this defect is endemic to the genre and has been litigating it against beat-em-ups since 1991 without success. Audio inventory is lean but every asset on the books is correctly deployed. Additionally, visual output is rated EXCELLENT at standard resolution and ADEQUATE at fullscreen. We recommend operators enjoy the facility at its native scale.

Overall determination: Very Well Made. Nice work!

Hi, thanks for the assessment! What do you mean by "enemy fire-lane alignment occasionally deviates from stated coordinates."? Bullets just hit you visually, not lane-based. Same as the player's

(Dropping the corporate bit for a second) Understood on the collision method. Honestly, I couldn't tell whether hits were visual or lane-based as your lane snapping is so clean that I assumed the logic was lane-locked and read the near-misses as misalignment. Sounds like it's working as intended, so consider the finding withdrawn. Great feel on those controls.
