COW-COW REMIX is based on an old prototype (called COW-COW) that I made in December last year. In the prototype you can only play as 1 player, with no power-ups.

I'm playing this a bit late, but it was definitely worth it.
The cow is really cute, and the music is pleasant to listen to.
I found the game a bit too easy. In Endless Mode, I felt like I could keep scoring points forever if I wanted to. A big reason for that is how frequently the power-ups spawn, you almost always have a shield bell on screen, and you're constantly picking up extra lives.
I really liked the local co-op. It reminded me of Nitrome's old browser games (I really hope you get the reference, haha).
Anyway, I think this deserved a much more prominent spot in the showreel. It's a seriously underrated game.

We are planning to continue working on COW-COW Remix, we heard some points about difficulty too.
We achieved 131# on the jam, obviously we wanted a higher position, but otherwise we're happy with the results. This is our second jam this month, it was a hard month for us!
Fun! The hand-drawn style graphics are charming and fun. Its quite hard , could maybe ramp up the density of falling objects to hook the player before dropping big bombs :) great job!

I like the game. The visual aesthetic is very cool and constant. The sfx where a bit harsh and gave me nausea. Cool entry! PS: Bonus points for 2 player mode

It was fun! I love the art style it's very cute! And I love that every stage has it's own gimmick, I loved the low gravity on the moon. I got 441900 points there. And also appreciate keeping couch co-op alive!
Only critic is the explosion sound when you hit an asteroid is too loud compared to everything else.

Inspected 16:12 local time. The software is rated GOOD. Art direction and asset quality are certified LOVELY, and the introduction of a new mechanic per level kept this office's attention on presentation throughout playthrough.
Two findings for your next quarterly review. First: the shield expires without notice a small timer near the character or an audio cue as it dissipates would let the player operator plan instead of discover as the blue shade of the character object changing was desynchronized from the countdown. Second: the graveyard background and the bombs share a palette closely enough that they blend. A brighter outline or a shifted hue on the bombs for this level would keep hazards legible against the scenery unless that was the intention. If so, good work!
Overall determination: Good, with clear room to shine. The art truly shines.

You're right about the sound of the bomb, we don't make sounds or music. I had to use free libraries and chose the best one...
That was FUN! Art style is awesome! I probably laughed way too hard the first time I got hit with a bomb. Great game. Not sure who holds the high score but I got 400k !

It was fun dodging all the asteroids and getting the yummy food, I also like how the cow jump was realistically low 😅 well ofcourse until the cow becomes super cow.

Yes, I got the same problem playing some games with the Godot Engine, sometimes it runs and sometimes I need to reload the page.
This is a neatly designed, simple game that gets even better with the local co-op feature. The player feedback when hitting the bomb is executed perfectly. Great job!
