the rocket took off without me! neat game. would be cool if there was a bit more to do in terms of actions
music is really good but could make the game a lil less repetitive but i love the fact that if ur oil id full u have to avoid them while getting iron to save time
Neat lil game! Goes to show just how important good music is :3 Had a nice time with it even if the controls and camera could feel a little nicer, all around still a fully finished game and a neat idea!
Unfortunately the reocket took off without me, so I was still stranded :(
I launched the rocket with 4 seconds left!
It turned out great! Just a little tweaking to the models and lighting would have been perfect.
Fun idea! The music is a great fit.
I ran into two issues:
Did not manage to build the rocket in time.
An idea to make it more interesting - you could have a machine that turns the oil into fuel and one that builds the rocket ship. They could have an input stack of resources that you can refill and work over time. That way, it adds a bit of managing the machine to make sure they don't run out of resources. You could even have the produced fuel as a third resource, requiring the player to carry it to the rocket tank. Maybe the rocket building machine also needs fuel to keep working. By adding just a bit more complexity I think you could make the game more interesting.
You drop off resources on the launch pad itself, the big concrete block the rocket sits on. I might add a button to pick up resources. As for your factory idea, I like it, but it might have to wait till after the jam, I don't think I could code that in time.
Like the music and the concept
