End life plan
It's completely offline! No servers or online DRM needed. You can download it and play it forever, even without the internet. I've also open-sourced the project and archived the code on my GitHub so it will never be lost.
Transparency note
1. Visual Assets: All 3D models (including the server racks and components), 2D UI sprites, and the custom game logo were created entirely from scratch by our team during the jam.
2. Audio: Backsound music is made by my team, but all sound effects were sourced from third-party creators on Freesound.org (fully linked and credited in the game page).
3. Code & AI Usage: The core gameplay mechanics and systems were programmed by our team. We utilized Large Language Models (LLMs) strictly as a programming assistant to help troubleshoot specific C# scripts.
4. No Generative Art/Audio: We want to clearly state that no generative AI tools were used to create any of the 3D models, 2D art, textures, or audio assets in this game.

I think I did pretty well for my first attempt.

I was a bit confused about how the scoring works. Sometimes placing a server on one tile would give me 60 points, but moving it just one tile over would give me 90, and I couldn't figure out what caused the difference.
Visually, the game looks very polished. The sound effects are pleasant, and the music is really relaxing. :)
Thank you! Happy to hear you loved the visuals and the relaxing vibe! :)
The score difference comes from adjacent connections placing a server next to more existing servers gives a bigger score, Plus, you can get big bonus points by completing a full line (like Tetris, but without destroying the line), and by using cooling units or firewalls to stop your server get overheat and get a virus. Thanks for playing!
The diegetic menu is a great idea. PLAY / CREDITS / EXIT printed on the drawers of a 3D server rack with little lights next to each one, and the HIGHSCORE on the display at the top of the rack. The menu is part of the scenery rather than sitting on top of it. The 3D "Stack Server" logo with the letters stacked (beige over blue) reinforces the idea nicely, and pairing Tetris style polyominoes with a data centre theme is a combination I hadn't seen and one that makes visual sense, since racks literally are stacked blocks.
I couldn't start it, though. I clicked and double clicked PLAY several times and nothing happened.
Probable cause is the usual one in this jam: the game window is much wider than the browser view (there's a horizontal scrollbar), the rack is clipped on the right, and the buttons' clickable areas are almost certainly offset from where they're drawn. Making the canvas scale to the window would likely fix it in one go.
It's a particular shame here, because with a menu that creative and good looking, the menu is exactly where the player gets stuck. Also worth saying your end of life answer is one of the strongest I've read: completely offline, no servers, no DRM, download and play forever.
Thank you so much for the feedback on the UI and theme! I'm really sorry you couldn't get past the menu. You're probably right about the canvas scaling issue causing the hitbox to offset (this usually happens on different screen resolutions). If you have the time, trying it in Fullscreen mode might fix the clickable area! Unfortunately, file uploads are locked during the voting phase, but I will definitely provide a downloadable offline version right after the jam ends. Thanks again!
Really cool! Love that menu screen
Thankyou!!
This is some network engineering-nerdy stuff! I bet a CCDA built this game. Well executed. Extremely niche.
HAHA 😆, Thank you
I enjoyed the amount of strategy that went into placing the servers! The overall polish in the game was also really nice. Awesome work!
Thanks a lot! Appreciate it!
I really liked this game, but I was a bit confused as to how the scoring works and I'm still not sure what the tubes(?) did. So a bit of a tutorial or more guidance in the description would be lovely, but besides that really cool, and a creative take on the high score mechanic.
Thanks for the feedback! The 'tubes' are cables that give bonus points. For scoring, your score grows with more servers, but overheating or viruses will reduce it (use cooling/firewalls to prevent this). We plan to add a quick tutorial every time you get a new card type soon!
I have no idea how scoring work, but I can't stop placing those buildings. Also nice visuals. Great game. (What do you mean servers? Those are buildings I say!)
Haha, we can totally see them as little buildings!, Thanks for playing. Basically, just keep expanding your setup to get more points, and don't let them overheat. Glad you enjoyed!
Very nice graphics and interesting gameplay! Good job!!!
Thank you!
Nice job! I like this game!

The UI in the game is amazing. Good job!
Thanks a lot! We're so glad you liked the UI and enjoyed the game!
The game is unusual. The graphics are interesting
Thank you! We really appreciate it
Chill and fun. The issue I had was that there isn't really a middle-mouse click for Mac's trackpad, I just wish that keybinding was different.
Thanks for playing! Ah, great catch with the issue, we didn't think about that during the jam. We will definitely add alternative keys for panning in the next update. Appreciate the feedback!
Very smooth and polished! Great job really!
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed the game!
