Theme Interpretation
It's a simple arcade game, I wanted to make something that could have been released for arcade machines, so it's just a simple gameplay loop with a scoring system.

Very cool game! Gameplay felt very smooth!
Very cool defence game. The disappearing land makes things pretty interesting for movement options.
The collision is kinda interesting in that if you shoot along a wall it鈥檚 possible to hit any enemies just about to touch the wall.
The turn before moving is a little annoying to deal with because it causes a lot of key spamming. It does kinda feel like a retro control scheme, but the accessibility and controls feels are terrible. An alternative I feel would be better is to have arrow keys for movement and WASD for firing direction.
Got to about 30k before my hands started hurting.
The visuals are effective in conveying what things are. Sprites could be better, but the squares convey walkable area well and the red of the enemies contrast well and make them easy to spot.
Interesting game loop, once I understood what was at stake (after the first square vanished) the game suddenly got a lot more hectic. I would love to see some sound, and maybe a more concrete "game over" screen when you finally fail (I was frantically shooting and apparently transitioned right into the next game).
Definitely unique, and had me enjoying my scramble to defend my diminishing elevator.
Very simple but fun! Definitely feels like a game you'd see at a retro arcade, or even on those old flash game sites. I like how the monsters slowly destroy the walkable area, which felt like an original mechanic.
Nice! I really enjoyed playing this. My only thing is once I got good enough it felt like it stopped getting more challenging so I didn't feel that compelled to keep racking up points! Would be cool to see new enemy types show up or for it to keep getting faster for longer. Overall really fun game!
Simple and effective! Ngl, I thought the ghosts (demons? aliens?) were tree frogs at first and I was distraught. I really like the concept of losing blocks to walk on when the enemies run into it!
yea theyre tree frogs youre shooting tree frogs

This is a great little game, nicely done! Now I've read other people's high scores, I'm going to play it again 馃槀
This is actually really fun! I like the balance of have to shoot the red guys vs shooting the star. I got 8000 points.
Interesting concept! I found the tap-once-to-turn, tap-again-to-move a little friction-inducing. Maybe a second key that when held switches from "move" to "just rotate" could help.
