If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?
you are shipping a couple of cryptids

This was a cute, visual novel, but to be completely honest it didn't really feel "so bad it's good" more just kinda humorous in the vein of a more wholesome Hatoful Boyfriend.
The artwork is very well done, with a surprising variety and detail in the player character sprites. The writing is also quite well done and gets across the different personalities effectively.
And I like that the game doesn't have a proper fail state and just keeps going with the flow like Sidd. Reminds me of Disco Elysium in a way (my frame of reference for visual novels is jam games and CRPGs I'm sorry).
I also like the game took a different direction with the shipping theme than the most obvious one.
This is a very well made game, by some devs who clearly know what they're doing at least somewhat (kickass websites btw) but it just doesn't come across as "so bad it's good" to me. But better a game that's lean towards too good than too bad!
Great work!
D'awww, that was cute :3 *goes back and chooses all the flirty options in an attempt to self-sabotage*
This sprite was my favorite
The graphics are great, it's like watching a film, and i really like it! But here is too too much text!
I love how each character acts and looks! I don't know if my sounds were bugged or something, but I think that some background chill music would have been an incredible addition to the atmosphere of the game.
As other people said, the interface is kind of bugged, with the characters being lower than they should be and some textboxes (the ones with the options) being smaller than they should.
Very cool game! Maybe not that 'bad' though.
I think you accidentally made an unironically good game instead of a “so bad its good” game
Aww! This game is so wholesome!
I really liked the art and story. It was really humorous and did sometimes make me think about what I asked. Using the modifier for the idea of "shipping" people is really creative, and the characters had great personalities!
I think there might be a slight scaling issue when going fullscreen with the background, and I think some sounds (eg train sound) went on for a bit longer than they were supposed to 😅 but overwise the game seems well built! Well paced and didn't drag on at all.
Had a very fun time overall! Thanks for submitting!
The art is very cute, and I was happy to see a chill, story-driven entry. The timeskip isn't super clear; our protagonist seems to go home and then wake up 3 months later in another city. There's also a bug that caused the train background to keep playing for half the game.
I did feel kinda railroaded toward the ending. Not sure if there's only one ending, or I just happened to get that one. I'm glad the pairing worked out, because I didn't feel they were a good fit for each other and was hoping for a third option.
I think the pacing could be faster and the length is just on the edge of being long enough versus too long.
I'm really nitpicking now and I think I'm beating around the bush a bit. The elephant in the room (to mix metaphors a bit) is that this really didn't feel like an SBIG game at all. The premise isn't that out there, there's no super weird twist mixed in, and it doesn't have a bizarre style or janky gameplay. It feels like a game made in earnest for a more normal jam.
Such a cute lil' story 😊
Honestly I have very little idea on what cryptids are and I have to google how a nightcrawler is usually depicted.
I really love how you depicted Sidd. He literally looks like a pair of pants wore by a street kid, with the flower patterns which are actually tattoos, and the golden chain which is actually piercing.
What a cute game :3 The writing is so thoughtful, it’s really nice, especially when asking questions. I shipped them and I ship them!
Is this part of an ARG? Are we supposed to look for the password elsewhere?
Edit: Author fixed the page yay 😁
no no we just totally forgot to unrestrict :[ sorry !!!
This looks great but it's password protected ;_;
sorry just un-restricted it !!!
