End life plan
i like this game and i want to add levels, deep story and polish. It will stay downloadable and will be archived.
Transparency note
the only thing in the project that is not original is the antagonist 3d model and animations.

It's completely broken. Unfortunate, because I think the concept is great.
This is a really cool game! I really do like where you are going with it! Like everyone I have ran into the same bugs of being stuck by the dad and still being able to play without dying. I really do want to see a more polished game in the future if learning how to make 3d games is the way you want to go! I'd say for this being your first 3d game and the time limit we had this is really good and has high potential. Congrats on the game.
Inspected July 26, 2026 17:00 local time. This office opens with the finding that matters most: the core mechanic, playing a minigame while hiding from a threat, is a genuinely strong idea. Split attention is where fear lives; a player who must take their eyes off the door to do the task is a player whose imagination starts working for the antagonist, free of charge. The inspection finds the software unfinished , a time-budget shortfall this office is all too familiar with, and notes with approval your stated plans to continue, and that the software will remain downloadable and archived.
(Dropping the corporate bit for the design talk, because your plans deserve the real version:)
Before adding levels and story, I'd work backward from your mechanic. The question to design against is "what makes doing a task WHILE managing a threat fun?" The games that nail this (FNAF, Among Us) all do three things.
One more thing worth mentioning is the restraint. Implication and a bloodied axe, nothing more is the right register for this material.
Wow, i could've not asked for a more detailed critique of my game, and i tried your game it's one of the best in the jam. I'm happy you passed by the technical problems. i made a lot of 2d games but this is my first 3d game so it's not a time issue, it's an experience issue. I still want to make more 3d games before deciding the fate of this one. I want to expand but i don't know how much until i make more 3d games. For your point about how these 2 tasks don't complement each other. You're 100% right. In a game with simaltinous tasks they should definitly sabotage each other. One way to do this is to steal the player's vision while playing the minigame and make the enemy in a sneaking state if he finds you playing: Instead of chasing you, he enters a sneak state where he doesn't make much noise espicially with the console producing a lot of noise. do you like this idea? Also if not of time restraint caused by low experience in 3d more than the actual game jam limit time, i could've expanded on the story, the bloodied axe in the dinner room that has a table of 13 seats and shows the painting "the last dinner" on the wall with the doodle you find in the child's room (one is for a happy family of 3 father mother child and one in the night with the mother and a different man) and the mom's bracelet in front of the fireplace in the living room are some clues to figure it out. but the player obviously wouldn't care unless you encourage curiousty and leave some time to figure it out. Anyways thanks for everything, i wanna be a great generalist game dev and win game jams. All the fields that i have to learn along the way are fun.
I also ran into that unlosable bug potatotek games was talking about below although that ment i got to play more games so was it really a bug or a feature?! Cool concept! Cant wait to see what you add in future levels!
actually very fun, i liked the 3d and 2d mix in a fun way. ran into a bug where i couldn't lose after i should've and the dad was just stuck running into me

Fun concept! The dad made me jump first time he got me hahaha.
There are some issues of course, but the biggest one shouldn't be too hard to fix: the cursor is visible, and you can't look to the sides if the cursor is all the way to the side of the screen. That last part really hampered my enjoyment of the game, which makes me sad because I really wanna chase that high score.
Nice job! Keep making games!
yeah sorry if it sounded rude but it's just that i am happy with this game , it's a big jump from my previous games. i felt a pain in my chest when you said Couldn't play the game. but it's ok i should accept criticsm anyways. also please try it again and tell me what you think. i'll accept any criticism you have
