**Looking for:**

1. Programmer (GODOT exp or willing to learn Godot).

**Our talents:**  We are a team of currently 10:  concept artists, 1 level designer, 1 FPS animator, 1 sound designer/composer, 1 Weapons modeler,  3D tech/environment artist, 2 writers, 1 senior programmer, 1 creative director/producer

**Project:** We are making a narrative-driven, level-based FPS game (in Godot), inspired for Fallout, Halo, Prey (2017).

The game would have a focus on drugs and addiction being part of the main mechanics of the game. You’ll navigate dense, open-ended levels using a mix of firearms, improvised tools, drugs and experimental bio-enhancements.

Systems interact dynamically with environmental hazards, AI/NPC behaviors and resource scarcity forces you to think creatively rather than rely on brute force. You can approach objectives through stealth, manipulation, or direct combat, with each decision shaping how situations unfold.

The game will have 3 acts, multiple endings. Main campaign will range between 6-12 hours gameplay.

**Responsibilities**

- Develop a limited-slot inventory and quick-slot system

- Create player feedback systems, such as damage indicators, status warnings, and interaction prompts

- Develop a data-driven player status-effect system for consumables, injuries, temporary conditions, and their effects on player stats and abilities

- Balance effect duration, intensity, stacking, decay, resistance, and recovery

**Length of project**:  we are currently preparing the first playable & demo, targetted for EOY 2026. (But we are not pushy with deadlines)

**Split %**:  if game is released/published  & generates revenue, split will be discussed based on level of contribution

**Contact method:**  DMs here or email at azzah.alsagoff@gmail.com

I sent you a friend request

Hello, I'm a native French speaker if you need a translation.

Hi, I saw your post looking for a Godot programmer for BIOYIELD — the drugs/addiction-as-mechanic angle combined with the Fallout/Prey-style systemic approach sounds like a really interesting design space, especially the idea of resource scarcity and status effects shaping how players approach each level. I have Godot experience and have shipped mobile games under my own studio (O2cool168), so I'm comfortable building out systems like inventory management and data-driven status-effect logic. I'd love to hear more about where the project currently stands (is there a working prototype yet?) and how the team's collaborating day-to-day. Happy to share more about my background too — let me know the best way to continue the conversation!
