Hey thanks for playing! You can jump using w or up on keyboard or also x/square on XBox or PlayStation controllers respectively. If you want to rebind controls or flip the left/right rotation direction you can do so in the settings menu either on the home screen or in game using ESC.

I dont see the plane jump when I press W so I may be missing something

ooh I see, you have to collect the powerup. Every time you kill 5 enemies a powerup spawns that you can collect and the first one is always the jump powerup. We did this to try an keep the gameplay true to the original tempest arcade games which also have the jump as a collectable powerup
