As a sucker for Pannenkoek's work I had to play this game the second I saw it. Genuinely incredible take on the theme, and also brutally difficult given how you have to take into account half-presses which screws with your muscle memory a ton, or, well, at least mine. Love how the 1-ups only increment your counts by half-presses as well.
Genuinely really solid game and also seriously overlooked due to it being a download entry only.
I appreciate the kind words. The game is running on a custom engine I've been working on and web support isn't something I've figured out yet, I hope to have it working soon though. Thank you for playing!
Loved it! Fun character controller, great level design, and creative countdown! One of my favorite games from the jam.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, thank you for playing!
This game was so hard! I got to about 12 inputs before I gave up. I love how it feels to control the player, and the idea of a metroidvania where you collect inputs is so unique. I would've liked if the 1ups just had a couple inputs of leeway.
An A press is an A press, you can't say it's only half.
It took me a bit to work out what I was doing, but I went back and watched "Watch for falling rocks in 0.5x A presses" and understood what I needed to do. I like the visuals and the music, I think they fit well for what this game embodies.
The jump dive makes doing wall jumps a bit janky sometimes and I wish dying was faster with how often I die in this game.
The holy texts may be required to enjoy this game. Thank you for playing!
