Thank you! We peeked at this on the Discord already. The overall ratings are interesting, though we feel the separated rankings really help bring out what your team focused on and highlight a larger variety of games.

clicking the progress bar didnt make it go faster 0/10

idk how to get past the loading bar but amazing 5 star in every category those screenshots were definitely your game

This totally feels like something I would play outside of the jam! It's such a creative idea, and paired with the great level design it becomes really fun to watch your little guy fall down the stage, like a marble race or something. The ability design is perfection! At first I felt like it would be hard to click the active ones in time, or that they felt useless, but it feels so so satisfying when you use them all right! Such a well designed physics game, gotta leave it a normal rating as well!

I don't think there would've been enough time in the whole rating period to figure this one out, but man I loved trying

Honestly I would've preferred if the NPCs were done as sprites in your style, the main menu was cute. Unfortunately, the sensitivity was way too high in my version, maybe it could be a setting on the settings page?

really good music, i dont want to rate because then the 42 will be ruined :(

The art and audio were great, the only thing i think could have been improved is there's not really much of a difficulty curve as you get higher (it kind of just gets easier) and it only took me 2 attempts to beat.

Wait the visual style on this one is awesome! Even though it's clear you didn't finish it (those teeth guys should probably have collision), I can tell you all had a bunch of passion for it! I'd want to play a finished version of this.

How are people rating this??? There are no files

Cute game! It gets kinda endless when you collect enough gas.

The art was pretty and the vehicle controls were cool! It was a bit annoying having to reopen the game every time I lost, though.

Wow, this was great! The countdown leading you to run between chargers felt great and I loved all the differennt ways you could deal with enemies and go through levels, especially the multi-purpose warp. The indicators for the guards' movement were neat, very important in a strategic game like this! The long, well-designed levels and debuffs when your count goes down really made the game more dramatic. Losing knowledge of enemy attacks specifically was crazy, it really made you think about the enemies and led to a cool new kind of gameplay. Cute sprite art and great level design! This game definitely would've gotten more ratings if it had a more eye-catching thumbnail and a web build. It also might've helped if it said something like "enemy attacks hidden!" near your power bar at low battery so some players don't just think the game's broken when they die for "no reason".

The game may not have been finished, but it has a very solid idea! The white-out and stamp systems work great! I hope you finish this outside the jam.

SPOILERS

Wow this game is amazing. I love that they use base 7 (really unique), and the graphics are really cool. I haven't beaten the game (yet), but from what I've played, I really enjoyed it. Aside from the notebook bugs (not being able to use s or space), and the gui bugs (too small, you can see outside the screen), it was really well polished. Also the music was really, really good (and fitting). This might just be me really liking language games, but I think this is my favorite game from the jam. It was just so satisfying to uncover the words, and have your answer be correct. I hope you get more reviews in the time left, because this game is very underrated. Thank you for making such a great game!

The 3d models and music were amazing, this is one of the most polished games I've seen from the game jam. I think the gameplay was fun, but the fire and parasites were pretty slow and not as useful as just bombing everyone with force. Maybe you could have punished force by giving you a lower score the more violence you caused.

I couldn't figure out how to clear the web history, but other than that it was a fun game! Maybe it could have been a bit more intuitive that clicking the wrong thing lowers your time though.

It was pretty fun, but who is count Draclia? It also lost me points when i put "count down" for garlic, even though that was in the tutorial...

The gameplay was amazing, it was so satisfying saving myself on the ones you get once you are about to lose your streak, and the audio really matched with the gameplay style. Also a lot of content for a game jam game

The art was all very pretty and the player felt good to control. The time pressure was real, but I felt with so little time it was very hard to give even more of it up for power-ups. Difficult decisions in this one.

I died from running into a comically large coin

This was fun! The countdown's effect on your movement was really cool and it added some weird quirks to the grid-based movement I haven't seen in other games (eg. being forced to move diagonally for one turn preventing you from going through a door). The one-axis boxes and garlic were also very cool obstacles!

I did have to take a picture of the move list on my phone at first, but I got a good feel for them eventually. It really helps that the order stays consistent throughout the game, letting you learn it. I did also encounter some crashes on  level 3, I think they were related to the bat move? Some way to skip levels in case of crashes resetting progress would've be nice.

The water dropping from enemies was creative! The game wasn't very polished, but honestly I like this genre so that doesn't matter to me much. Pretty art!

Really impressed by the two very distinct movement mechanics! It seems like there's a really high skill ceiling with them.  I feel like that space could've been further explored with a hand-made campaign, but this is a jam game so a roguelike makes sense. The tutorial was nice, though I felt I didn't need it with how intuitive the controls are! Also, cool music and overall vibes!

The combat was fun and the minimalist graphics highlighted the cool maze generation! Interesting take on the theme! I'm not sure how much the countdown affected my strategy, but it was very helpful that there were only 3 phases to think about.

This game changed my life. Before I was codless, unknowing of the greatness of fish. Then, I was exposed to this masterpiece of a game. I was shocked, blown away at the blazing speed of the attacks, the ingenuity of the air meter, the infallible dominance of the cod. It was not just a cod--it was THE cod. This game has genuinely made me forget salmons ever existed. As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2022, this is the only cod game that is worth playing. Call of Duty? A worthless attempt to mimic this piece de resistsance. Flip. Flop. As your air counts down, you inhale the water and feel a sense of freedom. A sense of purpose. A sense of passion. Passionate hatred for the cultists, for the civilians, for everyone. This game was never not just about cod--it was about freedom. The freedom to do as you please, to attack whomever is in reach, to unleash your inner cod.

anyway the game was pretty fun, i liked the fast attack

This game brings together 3 of my favorite things: softbody physics, raylib, and games where you control the environment rather than the player. It was also really fun. What was it like making a raylib game with soft-body physics in 4 days? That is really impressive, given that either of those things would probably take me more than 4 days just to set up lol

Thank you! coolbobgames.itch.io did the 3d models, you should check out his games :)

I love the idea of the randomized order of the people and the anger meter forcing you to play multiple times to get all of the end descriptions, it makes replaying the game a lot more fun. I got to "suspiciously wealthy".

The art is cute, and I'm glad we weren't the only ones who thought "countdown" made a good puzzle solution. When you go in the correct order, there's a cool sense of anticipation leading up to the final passage upwards.

The idea for the game was interesting, though it would make more sense in a longer game outside the scope of the jam, with more of the high-quality videos as rewards for gameplay or even playing during the gameplay. The platforming was a bit janky and it was weird that the big stars had no collision. After most dialogue questions the question was repeated, and the vertical camera movement wasn't clamped so your head can do a full vertical 360.

Loved it! Fun character controller, great level design, and creative countdown! One of my favorite games from the jam.

The music was a little short, but really good, and I liked the puzzles. The only thing that I think was missing is a sound effect for when you rewind the clock, but other than that it was great!

Great game! I loved the creative abilities (and their distinct colors) as well as the nested countdowns with the power ups and the overall level countdown. Cool enemies and fun gameplay loop. Also very pretty art style! A very strong entry overall. The only thing it's missing is a countdown to liftoff...

I love the bubble sound effects, and the overall vibe is very nice and polished. Level 8 took me like 10 minutes, and I gave up on level 9, but it was still really fun!

Wow I never knew counting down could be so hard. After like 20 attempts I beat it with 2 seconds left. The animations and art were really good and polished, and I couldn't stop playing until I beat it. Great job!

It was a fun game, but it took me way too long to realize you could just click the paw to make it not knock over your sandwich. I was trying to stack bread pieces as fast as possible before the paw knocked it over and I only found out you could click it by accident, maybe it could have been a bit more obvious. Other than that it was great, and I really liked the art

I liked the accelerating spinning fire beam thing mechanic, and it was really fun to play. Maybe some more diverse enemy types would have made it a bit less repetitive.

I wasn't expecting this to be a physics puzzle game going in! The overall concept was smart and it had some cool puzzles. I wish the text from the start showed up more, the light story was fun.

Cute game! I could tell it was based on the Unity platformer tutorial, but I liked the new player sprites!

5 stars in every category

Creativity: I haven't seen another game like it, it is GMTK themed, and it is a countdown

Enjoyment: It is very useful, and with practicality comes satisfaction

Narrative: What could be more realistic than a real countdown?

Artwork: Simple, elegant, minimalist

Audio: Who needs audio when you have bottom text
