Quite creative mechanics, and good execution, just like for the first game. Good luck!

Great visual part and really cool idea. Overall - it's an amazing game with joyful gameplay

Incredible pixel art and animations, the shadow mechanic is pretty cool  but i think some of the movement could use adjusting like the jump is realllyyyy floaty, but i overall liked the game and concept :>

fun shadow mechanic, especially figuring out its offensive angle.

The jumping being floaty makes it too easy for enemies to hit me

The art style and music are so charming! Love the idea. Very nice first game ^^

Good game! Some possible improvements:
- I would change the cast mechanic to work by holding Q, then you see where the shadow will spawn, move the mouse where you want it and when you release the button it spawns
- Add aiming for the shuriken
Great entry especially if it's your first game!

The pixel art is really pretty and the core idea is very interesting. The game was a bit cranky with the camera and the movements but it’s a very good first game so keep up the good work and congrats on your first jam !

Great art, really creative shadow mechanic! I did wish I had more health or could aim the shuriken though, as it felt a bit unfair when enemies could shoot up at me and when I'd die so quickly with only some hopes of restoring health when a shadow is dropped.

Otherwise though, this is a super creative concept, nice level design, great art, and overall a great way to start game dev! Congratulations on your first game!

That shadow mechanic is cool! I could definitely see this be expanded into a larger game, with some nice stealth gameplay using that shadow to teleport around.

Very solid prototype here, you have a nice eye for level design.

This was really interesting! Love the style, music and mechanics a lot. I would have appreciated the camera being zoomed out just a tiny bit more so I could see more platforms but otherwise really fun to play!

Awesome work!

The artwork and animations are beautiful!

The movement is a bit floaty but I enjoyed the shadow mechanic a lot, I think with some tweaking it could be really satisfying to use in combat!

This had a pretty fun mechanic I had fun shadowing around. I had a hard time dodging arrows though, maybe I'm just bad at the game.

Glad you had fun playing! Yeah, the enemies are pretty tough i'll give you that :)

gorgeous game, cool sound design, interesting mechanics. would love to see more puzzle depth with the shadow / knife etc combo!!

Thank you so much for the comment! Sadly i couldn't add much levels or design them properly because of the time limit we had, but maybe in the future if i continue the project i'll add new mechanics and levels.

I liked your game's combat mechanics, but you need to improve your level design.

Glad you enjoyed it, appreciate the feedback! The levels were a bit rushed due to the time constraints and my inexperience with Unity's Tilemap system, as i mentioned this is my first time making a fully playable 2d game :)
