How does your game fit the theme?
FINAL AIM fits the theme "Countdown" through its core shooting mechanic. Players have limited time to aim and adjust the gun before the countdown reaches zero. When time runs out, the gun automatically fires, making every second and every decision important. The game focuses on timing, precision, and making the perfect final shot before the countdown ends.

The juice is very nice but the levels could be a little more uniqe but overall its a quit good game

I like the concept for this game, but the execution leaves something to be desired in my opinion. There are 20 levels, but only the sprite and location of the target change, nothing is mechanically different between the levels. This is different from what is described in the description, but I assume that is a consequence of the description being AI-generated. With more variety in level design and no use of generative AI, this could be a solid game!

Thank you very much for your feedback! I will continue to improve my development process and put more effort into polishing the game. There are still many unfinished details, and the current version is definitely a rough prototype.

I truly appreciate you taking the time to play and share your thoughts. Thank you again!

AI generated art must not be used in this jam, including your itch.io thumbnail. If it's just the thumbnail please change it. If it's in the full game, please remove it from the jam!

Developer

sorry, I've changed it.

Sadly my mouse is not captured by game :-(

Maybe it's my setup

I did not understand the gameplay at all.

Also the game's thumbnail and description feel like they were AI-generated :(

I tried out the game for a while and here's my thought:
The art is cool and looks fitting. The audio is also well chosen.

I didn't really get the gameplay though. Initially I though you had to aim with your mouse, but apparently you have to drag the gun itself. It's pretty hard to pinpoint the reticle while the whole screen is obscured, which (I think at least) was the point? Maybe I didn't understand what you have to do, but after level 3 it stayed the same. Maybe it would have been cool to have a short window where you have to remember a few spots and then, when it goes dark, you have to shoot those? But with the offset of the gun when dragging it around it has been pretty tough to hit anything

Nice interpretation of the theme, but for my taste a liiiittle lacking on the execution. Still good job making something happen during only 4 days =)

Thank you so much for playing my game!

The core idea was to create a short moment where players observe the target, adjust their aim through movement, and make the perfect shot. There are still many details that need improvement, especially the time balance and overall polish. I’ll keep working on it and continue improving the game.

I also agree that the lack of a proper tutorial level is one of the things I should have done better. Thank you again for playing and for your feedback — I really appreciate it!
