How does your game fit the theme?
You complete as many levels as possible before the countdown reaches zero; the countdown is almost the sole limit on the player as it is also tied to object placement.

great take on the theme! wallrunning is fun, although the max speed feels a bit high and the acceleration a bit low.

i really love the concept for this one. i thought the editor felt very intuitive. i think the player accelerates a little too slowly, but other than that the movement also felt really good.

Love the idea! Some notes I took during testing:

  • Some music and sound effects (even from a music library) would go a long way
  • Shift for down is unfortunate considering it is mostly used for faster or up in other games
  • Enter is not a great key for start because you need to take your hand off the mouse
  • Movement feels quite floaty because of the slow acceleration and the tilting
  • Wall jump feels pretty good!
  • Love the ragdolling after hitting the goal
  • Maybe add rotation and scaling to the editor with different costs for operations?

Cool idea.. Its an interesting concept and can definitely be expanded into something good..but rn..the movement and control arent polished enough to properly enjoy this experience...Still bro it was good...Great work!!

Developer

Thanks! I'm wondering, what specifically feels unpolished to you about the control and movement?

Really cool idea. Love the concept. The only downside is the controls who are hard to play with.

Fun idea! Would love to see where it could go, given more time. It's easy to imagine a lot of cool parkour mechanics and level pieces that could be added if you took the idea further after the jam.

Cool idea for a game! I think it really needs mouse controls to look around to feel better, but I do like the speedrunning concept here.

Developer

What do you mean by mouse controls? There is standard first-person aiming with the mouse, although it's possible that wasn't working for you as the web export seems a bit janky. Or did you mean something else?

During the player control part after you set down your platforms. The camera stayed straight forward and I wasn't able to look around. I was playing on the web export. It may have been that.

Yeah, you should be able to still look around there. If you click inside of the game window it should recapture the mouse.
