I agreed with what others said about the platforming, the camera and player moves wayy too wild. One small thing as well is that it wasn't entirely clear you could stand on the trees. There are a lot of things I love about the game though, I am big fan of the artstyle. I also really like how you included things like respawning at the shard rather than having to do the whole level over. The level design seems to be really well made too!
Agree with what others are saying - the level layouts are nice but the platforming is difficult due to just how fast the character accelerates.
Looks like a fun game but I am not great with platformers so the high-gravity jump was too difficult for me and I couldn't progress much past the beginning. Bummer, but looked promising.
That is some strong acceleration down to earth!! The fall rate really clicked once I got that wall jump though :)
Cool game!
Clunky input, but the game design is really cool! Nice job!
I really enjoyed playing the game. I also liked the pixel art :)
I wanted to finish all the levels, however I couldn't. After two levels I couldn't progress. Not sure if I missed something or maybe there's a bug.
But good job overall.
Really cool pixel art and button prompts, tho I find difficult to time the jumps bc the gravity is crazy, apart from that pretty cool
Thank you so much for playing! Will definitely try adjusting gravity for a better feel, great feedback!
I liked the onboarding level in the beginning, however, the found the controls a bit clunky as the jumps were ruthless - one should really be precise here as they seem to be way too short in distance and therefore, it does not tolerate minor errors. This brought my enjoyment level down. Really nice pixel art! Congrats for submitting your game to the jam.
Thanks for playing our game! Definitely needs more tuning to get that great platformer feeling, so thank you for the feedback!
