My only complaint is the font is really hard to read, but i really like the idea and you executed it well, good job!

First of all what an awesome experience! loved the visuals and overall style of the game, the audio was great as well. My main gripe would be with the movement, it feels slow and awkward to control, after playing around it seemed like your velocity maintains itself even if you stop pressing any inputs, rather than decreasing over time (maybe this would feel better?). I also found it frustrating when I would automatically attach to the wall and need to jump off again, and in the end I managed to get to the final level without using the grappling hook, maybe i'm missing a better strategy but generally just tanking hits and hitting the enemy worked. I enjoyed how the enemies consistently got more difficult but used the same/similar attacks as the previous ones, it felt fresh while still allowing the player to get used to new attacks and learn to handle old ones. Overall an awesome job!!!

nice audio and art!and hope u can develop more gameplay function

i wonder if I would play better if I tilted my head over to the right

Very cool concept, deserves to be expanded beyond just one boss. I love this blend of a space shooter/bullet hell like game that uses moon physics rather than giving you a full range of motion, it made me feel that much more skilled when I managed to take down enemies.

In truth I don't know how much the numbered countdown is really needed, just having to kill the boss before I splatter against the ground fits the theme enough in my opinion!

It'd be awesome to introduce more movement types, like grappling off falling obstacles, or even deflecting attacks back at the enemy. It just seems like there is so much potential to add things like combos and flair.

super visuals somehow making me not pay attention to the fact that this game takes no skill at all an the enemy just spam impossible to dodge attacks and by level 7 you basically just have to get lucky with their movement patterns otherwise you lose! Good game.

Developer(+2)

haha thank you for playing my game! Sometimes games don't have to be about skill to be fun, sometimes its just about giving the player a good audio visual experience, and making them overcome some nonsense!

Reallly love how the world looks, also loved the enemy design they look so cool

Developer(+1)

thank you! it was a quick draw from me haha but I'm pretty happy with how it came out, i wanted it to change every level but didn't quite have time for that, I'm glad you enjoyed the game.

the colour palette + art for the background is super beautiful, i just wanted to point that out :)

Developer(+2)

Thank you! My artist worked really hard on that background so I'm glad its getting attention!

Submitted(+3)

i love the art style and the soundtrack. a little repetitive gameplay but still satisfying and fun to play

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback! I definitely wanted to have the gameplay be less repetitive with more interesting attack patterns but you know how game jams are haha. I'm glad you enjoyed the art and music I really wanted to highlight those aspects this jam! Thank you

Submitted(+3)

I love the audio in the game! Really well done and very juicy game!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I thought it was pretty juicy too haha

WOW! The background and intro/outro art were exceptionally good and the cloud animations were also extremely the smooth. I really love the idea of running down a tower and essentially having free movement and turning it into a bullet hell. The floaty physics of the character weren't my favorite but they did add to the challenge of the game. I wish there could've been a little more reason to go against the wall like maybe you would receive a damage buff or you could jump off and get some speed and do a dash attack which would do more damage and maybe knock back the boss. It would have been nice to be able to somehow see the health of the boss like if the hour/minute hand represented its health and the closer you got to 12 the less health it would have. The enemies' designs were clever by being clocks though and i liked the all the time symbolism. Overall really creative game and beautiful art!!!!!!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for your kind words, and I appreciate your feedback! MAN I wish I thought of that health minute hand idea thats gold where were you when I was develping haha!

Flew all over the place, felt awesome when I got stuck up against a demon and could just wail on them. The slow homing nebula attacks were vicious - the last boss with two of them was incredibly tense, and I barely got a hit off with 0-1 seconds remaining several times. Really epic feeling with the combination of tons of stuff going on, the banging music, and a surprisingly dialed-in balance between all bosses feeling more and more challenging but each still being very surmountable. Loved every second (pun intended) of it!

Developer(+2)

Wow thank you so so much for your praise, and also, impressive high score! Best I've seen so far and definitely better than my record, nice job!

Submitted(+3)

Great sound track and background animations!!! I would have like more movement options to dodge. At level 4, there is so much stuff happening! Fun game!

Developer(+2)

I'm glad you had fun! I'll keep in mind to include more movement options in my next jam! Thank you for trying my game!

Submitted(+3)

Great soundtracks, they went well with the color shifts it truly felt epic. Sometimes the movement was a bit clunky but the jump and grappling hook really felt great!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback! I'm really proud of the level transitions with the color and music, and I have to thank my artists and musicians for making it all possible, thank you!

Submitted(+3)

The background artisit cooked on this and really stole the show, I loved this! I also loved the momentum I felt with the sublte screenshake while I was heading down the castle/paired with the music, it was fun.

(+2)

Thank you so much! Glad you liked my art :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing my game! I spent a lot of time working on effects to help sell the movement and I'm glad it paid off!

(+3)

Great game! could use a little more UI for clarity, but the music is fantastic, the gameplay is largely fair, and the amount of time it takes to beat it is at a sweet spot! Good stuff Zach!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much for playing the game haha! Definitely could have used more instructions, I saw some people a bit confused about the goal, oh well lessons learned!

Submitted(+2)

This is a very cool game! I had a lot of fun, and it turned out to be a typical slasher (in a good way): we beat the fat enemy in the air, scoring points... :3

Developer(+1)

Haha, I'm glad you had fun with the game! Thanks for giving it a shot!

Submitted(+2)

7 seconds? I only need 6.

Developer(+1)

7 Seconds to live.... 96 hours to develop haha. Thank you for playing my game!

Submitted(+3)

Colors look great and the music is nice! I wish it was a little harder because it felt like I could tank most damage thrown my way.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback! And thank you for playing my game! I got a lot of mixed responses about the difficulty of the game so I'm not exactly sure how to parse it, but its definitely interesting for me as a developer to see all the different opinions about the difficulty level.
