haha thank you for playing my game! Sometimes games don't have to be about skill to be fun, sometimes its just about giving the player a good audio visual experience, and making them overcome some nonsense!

its funny you mention the difficulty because I have heard wildly different opinions about difficulty, some thought it was outrageously unfair, while others such as you had no issues whatsoever, I'm glad you enjoyed the music and the concept! I will consider a vibey game next year haha! Thank you so much for trying my game!
Thank you so much for your feedback! I did notice the direction switching thing but not until it was maybe a little too late for me to do anything about it, i think when I was playtesting I got used to the movement and had a bit of a blind spot for that issue. I'm really grateful that I was able to get so many musicians on board from the GMTK discord to make the game such an exhilarating experience. And as far as the chaos goes... yeah haha i definitely may have gone overboard, but I was having so much fun with level 7 that I couldn't help but leave it chaotic and crazy. If I had more development time I definitely would have gone for better, more predictable attack patterns instead of increasing speed and such.
Thank you so much for playing my game, and I'm very glad you had a good time with it! I was able to get so many composers working by continuously posting in the "last minute team finder" on the GMTK discord until I had enough people to help out, and I asked them each to contribute 1 song under two minutes.
I definitely wish I could have spent more time on the fight mechanics to make them more interesting, but was torn between that, the time limit creeping up on me, and a desire to keep the player controls simple, in retrospect though I definitely should have at least included 4 directional sword slashes. Thank you for your feedback!
Thank you so much for your feedback, and I'm really glad you enjoyed the game! The music is definitely the centerpiece, and I was very proud to have been given such great tracks to string together to make a cohesive experience! Sorry about the volume slider haha! It was something on my radar that needed to happen but you know how the time limits are lol! And as for the intros being a bit long, that's fair criticism, I thought the player might need some time to relax between attempts or they might get frustrated, but I received mixed reactions about it, so in the future I will keep this in mind!

Fun Game! I'm impressed with how many mechanics you were able to fit in in the time!
