This game is awesome from the concept to the look, it took me a second to work out the first puzzle but this is awesome the art style is simplistic but crisp kind of reminds me of GMTK word play. Only thing I would add would be a button that just counts you down to zero because moving to kill yourself got a little long.

Nice puzzle concept, the respawn definitely adds a lot to a basic sokoban. I also like the minimalist visuals :)

Maybe it could be nice to have a "last spawn rewind" instead of fully resetting the puzzle, in case you do a small mistake and don't want to start over? (or perhaps I just managed my board badly ^^)

Cool idea, you could absolutely make more levels with that mechanic!

A nice short little sokoban, I liked the the mechanic but admittedly it didn't feel like there was too much depth to it other than just moving to a spot where you can now push the box

simple yet effective puzzle game, i like the idea, could be expanded with more mechanics in the future

I got hooked right away! You could make infinite of these levels

Really neat puzzle game concept and the game overall is incredibly well polished! It was a bit short but well executed.

Very cool concept, great polish! Hoping for more levels in the future, maybe some additional mechanics and more challenging puzzles.

Loved the concept of the game, i wish there was more levels cause of how simple and fun it is so figure out how to use the respawn mechanic ^v^

I like this simple idea and the well-designed levels. The clean art and music suit the game nicely. It was short, but I really enjoyed my time with it.

I love this idea and it is such a creative and unique puzzle mechanic. Probably my favorite puzzle game I have played this jam! The visual style fits very well, and I LOVE the audio design of the game! Please make more levels, I want more of this game!

Clean animations, especially the rewind. Simple but effective graphics.

I can see the concept is early in development, but I'm interested to see how the idea would develop. Perhaps gimmicks like checkpoints so you don't spawn in the same place every rewind?

Game is so freaking cool, each puzzle really wracked my brain and the visuals were awesome. Super cool take on the theme too, really nice work :)

Super fun to play! I really liked planning through each of the steps and thinking ahead for how I had to move my block around. Really clean artwork and design, I just wish there was more levels. It would be cool if there was a more unique mechanic around the countdown too, since the countdown is rarely the limiting factor here.

Cute game!

I like the visual presentation a lot, the minimalistic look really works when you keep it clean. I think it works very well for this game, and some squash and stretch + other small animation additions can go a long way to give it a little bit more juice. Just a simple animation for when you get the block into the final spot would go a long way for the satisfaction of winning.

The spin on the general move count idea is cool, since you don't truly have to plan out every single step, but do need to be aware of where you will respawn and make use of it. Although, I don't think too many levels used this to its full strength, and for most of them respawning didn't make a huge difference in solving. With a mechanic like this, there is a lot of room to explore more interesting ideas. Like maybe having different spots you will spawn from, either in a turn order or needing to stand over them to activate them.

Originally, I also read the tagline for this game as once you run out of turns, your cube will stay there frozen, but you get to come back as another one. And I think there is also maybe some puzzle potential with that, in creating walls with your past selves to get the block to turn.

Having a quick reset is nice, but for games like this it is especially nice to have a simple 1 turn undo. Since a single misplaced push can usually end an entire attempt. And by giving this to players, you can also make harder levels, since the players shouldn't be worried about experimenting with ideas since they know it'll be easily undone.

Nice work!

Thanks a lot for the detailed review, I'm glad you liked it!

I had actually planned to add many of the details you mentioned, but unfortunately, I ran out of time within the jam's deadline (I was only able to dedicate about 16 hours to it).

In any case, I plan to release a more complete version once the jam is over, and your feedback is greatly appreciated!

Thanks again for giving it a try.

Very nice little puzzle, and excellently polished - good job.

As long as you can identify where to let the block sit while you traverse back from the start point, it was pretty straightforward, but I bet things could get really interesting with a more dynamic environment: doors, plates, conveyors, etc.
