There's an interesting proof of concept here that desperately needs some onboarding tutorial system and better balance.
I see potential, yet there are quite a few quirks. The UI is very packed and confusing, Next, the camera is way too zoomed out, and its hard to see. For some reason you can walk out the lobby of some sort, and I feel like the intengrity decreases bit too quickly. Other than that, with more love and time you can polish it into a very solid game!
you have a nice system but the game just feels very tedious atm
WHatthe ui looks like a complete games ui, great job, man. Found some bugs but nothinh to gamebreaking.
I really like the idea of your integrity running out while you scavenge parts for a body that won't need one. And the scope is honestly impressive for a jam, three crafting tabs, eight resources, a tech tree with dozens of nodes in it. I just couldn't get to any of it. I spent a good while in the starting room with zero of everything, never worked out what I was meant to interact with, and when I wandered outside the HUB walls I only found empty space in the directions I tried. Most of the Fabricator nodes showed up as blank magenta squares for me too, though I honestly couldn't tell whether those are locked nodes or missing icons. The thing I missed most was an integrity bar. I never saw the countdown anywhere on screen, so it never put any pressure on me. If the first thing that happened was a short forced gathering run, I think a lot more people would make it as far as that tech tree.
There is a really big shop and a lot of menus but I found it hard to see a lot of things it was too zoomed out. It seems like a good game with a lot of effort put into it so I wish you luck!
This game would benefit greatly from a tutorial. The timer felt a little too short to actually accomplish anything for the first few times resource gathering.
Other than that this is a fun proof of concept
