Fun game! Like others have said, the board constantly moving felt disorienting at first but your brain soon adjusts to it, it also means that once you start getting to higher numbers, knocking the biggest numbers makes the rest of the board more bearable. Honestly a really good simple take on the theme, feels very polished too!
I really liked the arcadey-feel to this game! After 25 or so I started to struggle a little though

At first I thought the reshuffling was annoying, but after while I thought it was kinda fun mechanic since it stops you from memorizing too many number ahead of time. Also you can kinda get good at knowing where they are going to move next over time. I thought the game was going to be too easy until I hit 50 lol. Great fun!
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Yeah, it's all fun and games until the numbers grow! I also find that there's a fatigue that starts hitting where you just become completely blind to numbers 🤣
I enjoyed this one a lot. At first, when the board goes all disorienting as it reshuffles itself I found it annoying BUT the fact that mis-clicking doesn't punish you too much makes it not matter so much. It's a really cool idea and I swear I tried to get on the leaderboard but these other people are just way better than me, lol! Despite not being on the board, it was a great game!
Thanks for playing!
If it's any consolation, I'm not even top three in my own game!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really enjoyable entry! The gameplay is simple, polished, and surprisingly addictive. I loved the chill atmosphere and how the countdown stayed at the center of the experience. My only suggestion would be adding a small visual or audio cue for wrong clicks. Overall, a clean and well-executed jam game!
Thanks for playing!
Love the chill vibes. I had lots of fun even struggling with a trackpad, and I love how the countdown is such a central mechanic. Clean concept, great execution.
I'm a dummy and clicked the wrong number sometimes so I'd echo Leoozzz' feedback of some feedback for that being good, maybe a wiggle of the block?
Anyway, excellent entry!
Thanks for playing, and for the kind words!
I didn't like the idea of punishing misclicks, but I didn't consider the possibility of just letting the player know "That's not the right block". Might be worth exploring!
This is really impressive ! The game feel polish and it's fun to play. I surprised my self to play longer than I expected.
The scope is small but everything clips well together and I love the music that is very chill.
I would maybe add 2 things :
Keep going !
Thanks for playing, and for the kind words!
I had considered some kind of negative for clicking the wrong blocks, but decided I didn't really want to punish players misclicking in the mayhem of the later rounds. Sfx or similar to let the player know that isn't the block they are supposed to be clicking might be a good idea for sure, though!
Glad you liked the music! I'm surprised no one has touched on the pitch shifting up the further you get into the game yet!
I didn't mean to punish the player, just to add something like a wrong action sound with a small screen shake.
Just to make them realise that is the wrong number that they clicked. Like this the player would know that he clicked and something happen.
I feel like this does everything it set out to do, the core gameplay loop is very simple and engaging. I like the artwork and overall design! The Auto Breaker upgrade does mess with my rhythm in hunting the numbers, though overall I dont think there's anything from a gameplay perspective I would change with this idea. Its very well executed!
Thanks for playing! I'm very happy people have been enjoying the simple design.
I think I've mentioned it in other comments, but I think the Auto Breaker might have been better if it attacked the other end of the numbers (you click the high ones, it breaks the low ones) or something similar. As it is now, it kind of feels like you are competing against it.
Definitely a short and sweet game that I had fun playing with. Gets a bit complicated with higher numbers but overall good game here!
Thanks for playing! I agree, it gets real hard to spot numbers after a while 🤣
My favourite that I've tried so far. So simple as an idea but so satisfying. Definitely has that "just one more go" addictive nature to it.
Thanks so much! It means a lot to hear that it's a favourite!
I'm glad that others find it oddly addictive. Usually I'm not a big fan of my own works, but I keep playing this one 😄
Very cool how the board shrinks and the blocks move correspondingly.
Imo, after 20 blocks, searching for numbers starts getting very tedious.
I wonder what it would be like if the amount of blocks was capped but instead of showing numbers directly a block could show something representing it, like maybe "3 + 2" for "5" or something.
It would kinda be hard to fit it into a square tho.
Thanks for playing!
Interesting idea! I agree that the search becomes tedious. I added an upgrade to help (the Block Sense), but it is completely borked in this web build, sadly!
Another alternative might even just be capping the block count, and decreasing the basic time added each level.
This is simple but very catchy and nice game!
Thanks for playing!
Nice game! Super satisfying to play and have the numbers adjust!
Thanks for playing!
At first I was like, "Isn't this just a game where you tap blocks in reverse order?" But then I discovered the roguelite mechanics! Some of the skills still need a bit of polish, though—like Auto Breaker, which ruthlessly destroys the numbers I worked so hard to find QAQ.
Thanks for playing!
Yeah, Auto Breaker breaking the same number you are looking for is a common complaint. Let's not talk about the fact that the Block Sense ability is completely broken in the build that I uploaded for the jam T_T
Actually very fun and stressing at the same time. Also did you get that idea from chat (i asked it, and got the same idea from it)
PS, can you rate my game too, and leave some feedback, since this is my sisters first game jam
Thanks for playing!
Not sure which "Chat" you meant, but nope! The idea popped into my head in the middle of the workday!
Glad you enjoyed!
Cool game! I it was interesting trying to find the numbers as quickly as possible. I kept missing them and having to search back over to find the next one. I liked the upgrades as well. I made it 6th on the leaderboard!
a very creative take on the theme, and very fun with the rogelike mechanics . with great visuals and sounds. great job!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for playing!
Simple idea but great execution! If your idea with the shifting numbers was to keep the player constantly having to re-find the next number, it worked really well. I found it a bit disorienting initially but realized that it was probably to prevent people like me trying to remember where I last saw a number.
One thing that I found could be a bit improved was when a the auto-break the next number activated, having a different sound to the regular block breaking would've been nice. A few times the auto-break activated at the same time as me breaking a block, and I didn't realize it'd happened so I kept trying to find the number the auto-break just removed.
Thanks for playing!
The auto-break definitely does create some confusion. I think it would have been much less confusing if I had made it attack from the other end of the numbers (you count down, it counts up). Then you would never be racing against it.
Gameplay is not super engaging after a minute or so, but really solid polish.
I'll take the W on the polish! It's where I feel like I usually struggle!
