Really Cool game for such a short time!
Pretty cool for a game made in 12 hours. Visuals are really cool, I like how everything goes dark when you regen your candle.
The game's pixel art is really cute, and I also liked the mechanic where the candle gradually burns down.
It's a shame the game is short
Love the 1-bit aesthetic! The controls feel great too. I did find the progression a little confusing at first, though that was probably because I neglected to read the itch page before playing; I found all the buttons really quickly, and was unsure when I’d completed the game. Is the “thank you” message the end? I’m assuming so, since I can’t find anything else.
A simple and effective way to implement a countdown in a different way, nice!
At first I did not get the countdown, and then I saw that candle and started to panic ! A bit more dynamic and it would be really nice, with dash etc to explore a lot between 2 candle check points
Good job !
Although the linear gameplay, the art is good. As small size file, you could make web version of this to make it more accessible. Plus, you can set player in randomly position everytime they restart to support limited vision feature in the game and make it more harder.
I like the premise and the artwork is nice, especially for 12 hours of work. However it does lack a narrative and audio. If this had more time put into it this could be really interesting. Good job!
Beautiful game but felt a bit straightforward gameplay-wise. Still, really impressed given it only took 12 hours to make the game.
Very nice aesthetic. I like the candle timer. Would be interesting to see how far this game can go if you continued to work on it
Found the four buttons! NIce pretty game; would love to see some tetric music in it and maybe some harder-to-reach buttons too (or are they there already?) Nice work!
I liked the focused 1-bit aesthetic and the candle timer mechanic was very visual and understandable. It was fun to explore around. I am wondering what do the scarecrows mean... :)
The art is very good. Adding some SFX would improve the game immensely
