This game is absolutely amazing! I love the fluidity of the character walking animations, its so beautiful, and everything else about the game is perfect. Five stars across the board, great job!

RKI3000 made another game? I obviously need to play it! I absolutely love the main character (he's great) and the pop-ups are fun references. Great gameplay loop with enough challenges like which customers to count, well done! I did get through the final level but I gotta say it took really really long (like approx 10 minutes) and I did only get a black screen afterwards, so hoping I didn't miss too much story after that!
Thank you, hahaha! Mr. Mushroom could never miss a GMTK lmaoo
Good job on beating it, I also think the last two levels could have been balanced a little differently, but we did what we could with the time that we had. Sorry about the black screen after the credits! I accidentally left in an unmodulated color rect and it covers up the credits. It's just this end card followed by a quick credits screen listing all of the devs, so you didn't miss tooo much 😅
I feel like I'm going crazy because every round (and I only played the first two) I would count them exactly, but the number I got at the end would be 10-15 off. I triple checked the description for how much each type were worth, so I have no idea what happened. I even got someone else to try it on my laptop, and they got the same issue too. I thought it was a really cool concept, though, and I wish I could've played more!
One little super graphic design-y suggestion I have is to limit the number of fonts you use. At one point there were five on screen at the same time (item name, the in-game instructions, "skip dialogue" button, character name, and the dialogue). I like the idea of using typefaces for character's dialogue, but it might be easier to read if just their name was different— that way you have the same characterization effect, but the body text isn't super varied size and style-wise. This mostly is to help with legibility, especially in larger chunks of text like dialogue and instructions. Consolidating your fonts down into a smaller group (e.g. one heading, one subheading, and one body text) has a similar effect and makes you text seem a lot more cohesive across the multiple screens. I specifically enjoyed the handwritten pixel-y font with the drop shadow used for the onscreen instructions!
Hi, thanks for playing and your feedback! I agree with you on the font choices, I can be a lot at times
I think what happened is that you counted the customers as they were entering the screen and not as they were entering the door. Otherwise I have no explanation for what happened, you are the only person with this problem so far. We will look into it, thank you!
Could very well be the case!! I wouldn't be surprised if a certain sleep deprived duck might have gotten a formula or line of code mixed up here and there.... Didn't notice anything during testing, but I'm sorry it seemed to happen to you! We'll look into it after the rating period, thank you for the hint!! :D
I love the art in this, and the music is also really good! As for the gameplay, I really enjoyed it! Though, in the last level, it got just way to chaotic for me to keep track of, but I rather like that since it's very contrasting to the earlier levels!
Also for a gamejam of 4 days, I find there to be a lot of content, you guys did really well :D
These were the scores I got, I have no idea how I even got remotely close in the last one though lol

Really creative Idea! Unfortunately, this game is about counting up, not down, so I think you are unfortunately disqualified. (jk, great job!)
Neat game, fun mechanics to help you count. I think scanners might be a bit buggy since I couldn't place them both in the 1000 count level.
very cool artwork and animations! feels very smooth and enjoyable to play :) great job
The visuals are oddly nostalgic and fun, definitely one of the stronger entries in this Jam!
Really cool game ! It's so polished and get so fun from such a simple concept, well done !
Very cool game! The idea is so much original, the art style is incredible, very well polish and programmed (and pop-up are very funny). Congrats! Well, 500 customers became to be a little long to count, moreover if you miss the goal 😆
The art style is on another level. The best game I've played so far, and i love how the basics are simple, yet the game is complex.
Props to the artist who made all the animations! They're so smooth! It's impressive how you guys made this game in four days! I do wish that you're able to sell your items though, since it's annoying that I don't get to buy cool automatic scanners because my inventory is filled with bombs
