i just put 2 card in the first 2 slots then kept spamming the 3rd and i won 90% of the time

There's such a cool idea here, with the cards changing functionality every beat, but I was a bit disappointed there was no music in the game or that my cards weren't generating a song. I was wondering if maybe instead of placing cards per beat I can set up a whole measure of cards and see how they play out. Then you could also "play" the music that the cards play. Just a thought. Creative game.

Very cool suggestion, I'll have to tinker with that :)

I love this concept! (And not just because my game had a very similar idea, lol) The mechanics are very interesting, and I think if you take the time to add the music and sound effects that this game is begging for it could be great! The visuals are already there, as well. Great submission!

Not sure if you intended it, but this game works perfectly on phone!

I really like the thought that went into the mechanics of the cards doing things on different counts, I managed to beat the game! I actually had more fun the second round since it was harder (also the cards were more interesting but maybe that was just RNG).

I don't think I've seen any musical deck builders before, so I was really surprised with how well the two went together. Very cool!

fun game loop but i was hyped for some audio for a game about music. still very fun to play, nice job

The art was really nice and the concept for the gameplay is very interesting. With some good music and sound effects this seems like it could actually be a real banger!

This game has a pretty neat concept, but I wasn't really sure how to make the most of it. Some more iterations on the game design and flavour (e.g. music, sfx, animations) would really elevate the overall experience. Especially because it's a game about music. Otherwise, good job releasing your game!

Cool game but the lack of audio really impacted it!

Really neat concept!

I focused on trying to make this prototype test whether or not the "cards do different things on different counts" mechanic was actually fun, so I'd be very curious to hear candid feedback on the core deckbattler mechanic  :)

This is my first game jam and first published game! Had a blast making this one.
