How does your game fit the theme?
You have to connect numbers in a row together to clear blocks, which give you extra time as the clock is always ticking down.

This game is awesome! I definitely panicked my first run because of the music, but my subsequent runs I got it down. I agree with a couple of others though, one key press seems to occasionally move the block twice, which doesn't feel great.
The game feels very polished, i love the OG tetris and you managed to find a good twist to the base game, i had a blast playing this ! At first i thought the game was a bit easy (since im an epic gamer) but it got progressively harder with having more pieces to chain and the timer still going down adding even more stress.
Overall i loved the game, good job on this entry !
I like it a lot! I wish there was more chaining potential, as that is my favorite thing about block puzzle games, like tetris attack and puyo puyo.
Took me a few attempts to understand how the chaining worked but even as someone who doesn't like tetris all that much I kept playing over and over, well polished and a fun concept that could be really cool with a few changes.
I'm a fan of Tetris but I found it really hard to get an intuition of what I was aiming for in this game. (I don't even really understand what "connect numbers in a row" means; obviously it's something to do with 1-2-3-4 lining up, but I can't explain why sometimes half the level disappears and other times it just keeps building up and up.) The best I can do is just play Tetris normally, and occasionally things disappear and it's not clear when that will happen. I have nowhere near the mental capacity to be looking at the numbers while playing Tetris.
Also, I found it very "slippery" - I would often be trying to place a piece in one column and it would go one space too far, for some reason (I think the repeat delay is too low perhaps).
That said, this has awesome JUICE. I love the look of it, the shaders, the effects, the audio. It really comes together visually.
Thanks for playing!
About the gameplay, I think of it as being in the genre of Tetris, but played completely differently. If you think about how CS2 and Ultrakill are both shooters, but you wouldn't play them the same way. Blocks also only clear when the adjacent numbers touch each other in order. When that chain connects, all the blocks connected to that chain clear, which is why large chunks disappear at once.
Also a lot of people had the same issue about the slippery controls, that might be because of the web build.
Thanks for the feedback though!
Thank you so much!
Very cool twist. Loved the polish, great use of shaders! The controls felt a bit sensitive to me, I'd often move a piece too far left or right by accident. Amazing job!
Go Tetris Crew!
Thank you so much!
Very nice twist to an old classic. Great game!!
Thanks so much!
The level of polish on this game is incredible!
Thanks so much!
Very well polished and fun! Good job!
Thank you so much!
A very fun spin off on Tetris. Well done!
Thank you so much!
A highly polished game—it's like Tetris combined with a countdown timer and number-chain mechanics. The sound effects and the screen shaking really kept me on edge. A great gaming experience overall!
That was my goal, so im glad it made you feel like that!
HOLY POLISH. To think that this was made in 4 days is crazy. Fantastic Work!
Thank you so much!
well good job. I just wasn't impressed by the idea tho
Fair enough, thanks for playing!
It has good graphics and you made an impressive job by including powerups good job!
Thank you so much!
This was a fun twist on Tetris that really had you thinking about spatial awareness. Power-ups were fun and I loved the aesthetic. Great job!
Thank you so much!
Wow, you re-invented tetris and did it really cool! I cannot even say what I liked more - every game part looks awesome for me (despite a little ear damage I got from too loud sound on start haha)
Thank you so much! My bad for the ear damage lol
Great execution, was really fun ! Just the music was way too loud, settings would have been great
Yeah, I didn't have enough time to add it. Thanks so much!
Great impact and a set of really nicely combined mechanics that end up being quite difficult, but also fair. Love the addition of powerups, visuals and music work perfectly. Well done!
Cool game, feels amazing to play!
Thank you so much!
