How does your game fit the theme?
Time is arguably the most impactful countdown in our lives, along with age; a count down to death. In our game, the players age is rapidly increasing, and they are told exactly when they will die. They must accomplish their goal before that, which is to save their daughter. The whole game is a countdown, while it might not be in the title, it's definitely the main driving force of the game.

The art really grew on me and the gameplay itself was quite fun as well. Easy to play, but definitely hard to master. Good narrative as well!
Cool story! I feel like the dash direction should not be where the cursor is, but here you're heading with WASD, but perhaps that is just me.
Overall very cool to play, well done!
Really nice, there's some really fun enemy designs.
Thank you king 🙏
I walked into this game thinking the name was nice and the art style looked cute, but oh boy, was I in for a surprise!
The story was gripping me in ways I wasn't comfortable with. An interestingly fun game, GG.
thats exactly what we wanted lol glad it worked
Cool idea of a years-long journey! It reminds me of Cult of the Lamb, and by the way it would be cool to see some side progression being cultivated along the years (though it would take a lot more time to implement I imagine hehe). Congrats!
I liked that the game had narrative, and a larger overarching story. The combat and movements felt good, I liked the dash mechanic.
For me, the biggest issue was the sword would move my character forward on each attack, so when hitting larger mobs with more hp, I would keep running into them and losing a life. Would’ve loved the sword mechanics to relay the impact and weight somehow differently (without moving my actual character).
Overall, liked the submission. Thank you!
yeah I did that so that you cant just hammer on the bigger enemies, the push forward is slightly more than the knockback you deal so you have to fall back after like 4-5 hits! Sorry you didn't like it though lol
Got it, glad to know it was intentional. Not sure if this is a good suggestion or not, but for me, what would’ve made more sense, was some sort of slam attack from the bigger mobs (along with the dash) to make sure I can’t just wail on it, and have to dodge out.
I do admit, making the player go forward on each attack is a very unique approach!
the artwork and animations were very nice. the only part i didn't like was that the dashing was oriented towards the mouse. rather confusing and, personally, counterintuitive.
Good
The guy being grey haired at 30 is very accurate lol! I really enjoyed the concept, but being put back to the first level was a little frustrating. Overall a really fun submission! :)
This is a really fun game!!! The mechanics are really well refined!
I had a great time playing this game. The only real problem is that it's too easy. While swinging your sword like crazy is fun, I'd like more interesting challenges. The mouse dash isn't very convenient. I ended up not using it. Because the game is so easy, I think I missed most of the enemies and mechanics.
The art is lovely!
And I'll try to make sure that "losing control" during an attack, because you're not actually hitting, just swinging in all directions, is a really fun mechanic!
Yeah, you know I figured Id keep it easy, it was way harder but we nerfed it a lot! I don't know why you would miss enemies because it's easy I'm not sure I understand, but thanks for playing even if it was only for a few minutes lol
I meant there are different enemies in the game, but I basically just killed them all with mouse spam. You made them behave differently, but I didn't feel much of a difference from the most common enemies :)
Anyway, it's a fun game!
Oh ok lol thanks
