I thought the mechanics were sound, although some of the spike placements were way worse than others. My main complaints had nothing to do with the actual gameplay. First is that the sound was really obnoxious, and second is the countdown clock in the background felt like it hurt my ability to concentrate more than it needed to - a countdown off to the side would have been perhaps less stylish, but definitely a lot more functional. I scored 22 points and died probably 50 times - I'm not a good enough precision platformer for it, but I bet some Ultimate Chicken Horse enjoyers would play the heck out of this. Really, really creative idea.
