Hello! Gorgeous presentation. Love all the art and the jolly music. I'm please you went to the extra effort of having a lovely start screen too.

The voice detection is working amazing for me. I am speaking lil a cartoon pirate and shouting orders and it works GREAT. However there isn't a lingo manual in the pause menu.......ok wait now there is. It just didn't show up for the first few minutes. There's a lot here. Having the lingo manual just under the replay tutorial button is a bit dangerous.

I would say having  text confirmations would be great. Instead of "aye sir" an "aye sir, loading cannons" would let you know that the command had been properly received.

So I managed to raise anchor, set sail sail, lower anchor and pick up Swiff at the first port. This is all pretty cool stuff! The lingo manual promises a lot of stuff like combat and extra crew - is there more stuff to discover or have I done everything there is to do? Either way this was a treat!

Thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the game so much and that the voice controls worked so well for you! (They can be reeeaaallly hit or miss we've found. owo;). Beyond what you've seen, there isn't too much more beyond sailing the high seas, gathering crew members (there are four that can be found in total), and duking it out to sink other ships for more gold! We would have loved to have more (our list of stretch goals was biiiiiig), but alas — game jams, amiright? :3c

Thank you so much for the thoughts and feedback and for playing the game! :DDD

ooooh so there is more combat and more characters! Rad! I do kinda wish there was a map of some kind cos sometimes its feels like the world is empty but maybe I'll set sail again and try to find someone and pick a fight!

Yes yes! — and fair. ;3
I'll tell you a little implementation secret... from a technical standpoint, your ship never actually moves! Instead, the whole world rotates like a ball and your ship lives on top of it. Does that matter to you as a player? Nope! Is it silly? Yes. Definitely. Is it related to anything you said? Not really. Rawr. :3333

Oh cool! I think Outer Wilds did something similar if i am remembering correctly.
