How does your game fit the theme?
An intense dual-countdown survival loop is the foundation of Calculated Chaos. During the Spawns Wave Count Down: Every Day & Night phase, you are faced with a demanding numerical countdown of swarming monsters (Spawns Remaining: N to 0). You must actively compute and create elemental spell chains as a Math-Mage in order to produce enough crowd control to erase the precise remaining countdown before the allotted time runs out! The campaign serves as a general countdown to the total solar and lunar eclipse on the Fifth Night, when Sun and Moon Bosses will finally converge!

I find this game quite amussant as having to run away from a lot of monsters! The attacks are also nice! Thank you for letting me play it live!;D
The concept of mixing spells was really cool! The execution isn't quite there yet, and once you make one good spell, that's all you need! But there is a lot of potential here, and I urge you to keep working on this, and making it better! Great submission to the jam c:
The magic system is cool! Unfortunately, I lost my cursor after the first few waves.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to progress far into the game because of a bug losing my cursor but I had a lot of fun until then. I really liked the idea of creating your own magic spells and with a bit more polishing I think you have a really cool potential. Some variations of spells could be cool too, like healing, or shielding, or CC spells.
I think the system is pretty interesting, but I was having a hard time playing through it.
Thanks for reviewing my game! I really wanted to balance the gameplay and make it easier to play right near the end , but my time run out .
It was confusing at the start, but once I got used to it, it was pretty fun putting spells together! The area damage killing a large number of enemies at once was also really satisfying. Good job :)
Thanks a lot for playing! I'm really glad you stuck with it and had fun wiping out big enemy swarms.
pretty good game! haven't been able to use other spells than the fireball sadly, but the magic system is interesting and would be even better if worked deeper, the mechanic of merging elements is a good one.
Maybe add a way to regen mana other than picking up exp, I was almost out of that. Died of ennemies blocking me between some vegetation
thanks for reviewing! You can actually recharge mana anytime by staying completely still and pressing E or M to Meditate! To cast different heavy spells like Hurricane or Meteor, just connect different element nodes together in the Grimoire table.
