Some really challenging levels, but your mini golf mechanics suit well with the theme. Well done.

This was really fun, but challenging.

Amazing game! I enjoyed how much game feel it had and how difficult some of the levels were (with hole 12 as a highlight)

Submitted

Great and slick game, but I got a hole in one in a par 3 hole and was a bit disappointed my great skill wasn't acknowledged by more confetti or fireworks or something

Submitted

Really well designed! Had a lot of fun

This felt AMAZING to play. The slow motion + air shot mechanics worked so well with each other and made the game feel fair. Great sound design and particle effects too. Genuinely, incredible work!

Submitted

Super polished game, I really enjoyed it. I should've known there would be more golfing games haha.

holyyyy this was rage inducing in the best way possible made me want to keep trying lmao. took me 30 min to beat the game cus of that last level might try again for a lower score

Very very fun! I really enjoyed banking shots off walls and trying to get my trajectory just right. The wind ambience was kinda scary though it gave the whole thing a really strange vibe lol, still really enjoyed it, these physics are phenomenally well tuned for a four day jam

Submitted

Wow this was really good!

The level design and amount of levels are great and everything felt very polished.

I had a lot of fun playing it

Submitted

This is really cool! I had a lot of fun but it was hard cuz I'm on a trackpad lol

Submitted

The gameplay is really polished and fun, i had a good time playing it, I found it also quite hard haha

Impressive number of levels. Hole 12 was tough, yet there are still more. The ambient sound is a little annoying after a while, but otherwise very nice. Like the deformation of the ball.  The time it takes to charge a shot feels a little long.

I appreciate the feedback!

If Super Meat Boy was a golfing game.

Developer

Super Meat Boy was definitely an inspiration

An idea of a golf platformer heavily relies on well made physics, and you succeeded quite nicely I believe, the game feels real satisfying to play.

Thank you!

This is so fun.

Very nice game. Made it to the level with the long row of spinny saws and then couldn't figure out how to get around them twice. Would be really cool if there were an option to invert the controls though. To clarify, keep the arrow pointed in the direction the ball will go but then would be cool if I could hover the mouse in the opposite direction that the ball will go. Not sure exactly why but this would feel more natural to me.

Developer(+1)

I actually originally had the controls inverted and was going to add a toggle to switch back before I totally forgot. Appreciate the feedback!

That would be cool. Also something else that might be cool is a handicap mechanic. Like maybe if someone fails enough time they could get an option to click a button that gives an extra swing or somehow makes the run a bit easier to get through. Or a bit less fancy but maybe a skip level button if someone really gonna give up. Like me when i gave up trying to get trhough the double tunnel around the spinny saws. lul Really like the slowmo effect and would be interested in seeing more levels

I really liked this game! It was very fun and I got stuck on level 16 for a while lol

I kinda love this! Great concept, probably not totally new, but what is these days? It puts a lot more action into regular 2D golf games than having to wait for the ball to come to a complete stop, and the level design leans heavily into that mechanic.

I got to about level 7 before it got too tricky for my ageing brain and failing mouse abilities made me stop. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it up until then. I think I could have completed that level if I'd persisted, but there are tonnes of other games to play...

Juice was expertly done. Adore the sounds of the game (except the background wind - too loud in the mix for me, especially as I didn't see any wind mechanics in the parts I played), the stretchy ball etc. Slo-mo when you're holding and aiming your next shot is great, although not quite slow enough for my skills!

I totally get that the stroke limit is there to fit the theme of the jam, but it might be better with no limit. Just do your best, as in regular golf. Maybe a stroke limit that's much more generous would help?

Nicely done!

Developer(+1)

I might look into making the stroke limit more generous post-jam as I agree that its a little restrictive right now. The wind noise definitely got amplified after building the game for some reason and I didn't think to catch that before submitting. Thanks for the feedback!

This is really fun! The levels are well designed! This game is my favorite, even though I didn’t notice any countdown in it

Developer(+1)

Thanks! The 'countdown' mechanic is the countdown of strokes until you can't shoot anymore. Bit of a stretch but I think it works.

Submitted

Yes! I wasn’t paying attention! I think that definitely counts as a countdown!
