Fun little game. My only complaint is that the box physics was a bit inconsistent. Sometimes boxes only move a short distance when pushed, other times they get launched across the stage. Despite that, I still had fun with the game. Good work!

Really interesting idea. I really liked the art and music too.

I think my only real issue was the shooting enemies. The cadence of their shots meant that there were often odd little hiccups in your flow through the level. You always had to do these brief pauses before heading to the next bit.
That caused two issues for me:
- The platformers I like tend to have a good sense of flow, so those brief pauses tended to kick me out of the game, esp on the levels with tighter timers and longer dodging stretches
- It often made it so an early gaff meant the whole level was scrubbed, but you didn't know for sure until you got to the very end, which tended to make levels feel more irritating than challenging.
I did tend to prefer the levels that used the shots for puzzle solving, like needing to get a box in the way so you could finish the level. (And I wonder if that might be a deeper problem. Some levels were more precision platformer-y, others were more puzzle platformer-y, so having to switch from puzzles to precision may have messed me up.)

I did make it to the end and was glad I did because lighting the torches was a pretty fun mechanic. Definitely liked that.

Looks very nice! I did not like the movement, a bit too floaty perhaps.

This is a really cool game! I love the retro art style!

The retro art actually impressed me! Keep up your good work, my only hope is to adjust the hardness different between levels, along with some UI (menu) enhancement (maybe some button size changing and clear instruction). Love this game!

Pretty cool puzzle/precision platformer. I like both puzzles and difficult games, so it was quite fun for me :).

Love the thumbnail and retro art! Like everyone said, the difficulty ramps up quick. In order to make it easier for people who don't play a lot of precise platformers, and still appeal to the hardcore audience, I think maybe increasing the timer and adding a secondary optional objective could work. Casual players have more time and the hardcore audience has a challenge to strive for. Great work!

I wish the platforming didn't get so difficult so fast, still it was a nice experience overall!

Congrats on the submission :)

I think making the levels myself made it seem a lot easier than they actually turned out to be lol, it def gets really hard, thanks for playing!!

I love the level design in this. It's a shame at I suck at this exact type of precise platforming. It was fun regardless!

Developer(+1)

I think playing so many precision platformers kicked in this muscle memory to design the levels like that lmao, it's definitely really challenging, thanks for playing!

Fun little game! The levels ramp up fast in difficulty, but the art is good! I couldnt see the buttons at the start in the menu though ahaa, took me a while to find them!

Developer

yeah I definitely could of made the start button a little easier to find loll, thanks for playing!
