How does your game fit the theme?
The countdown is the core of both the gameplay and the narrative. Every incoming Morse code message must be decoded and answered before the timer runs out. Each second of hesitation increases your girlfriend's anxiety, causing her affection to spiral into obsession. As the countdown reaches zero, she gets physically closer to your house—turning every reply into a race against time. The countdown isn't just a timer—it's the distance between you and danger. Every delayed reply gives your obsessive girlfriend another step closer to your door. Players must decode Morse code messages and respond before time runs out, balancing speed and accuracy as the countdown drives both the gameplay and the story. All game art, UI, music, sound effects, and code were created by our team during the GMTK Game Jam 2026.

Scary, honestly! I really liked learning some morse code actually, I think something like this (maybe not exactly texting a GF?) would be a great tool to actually learn it.

Beatutiful art and cool concept! Something like this could be amazing to teach morse code, I feel like I've already memorised a couple of letters after playing this for a while. Needing to restart from the very beginning when you die was frustrating so I sadly didnt manage to reach the ending. Still really enjoyed this game!

The style of this is amazing, and the morse code is really clever. It does feel a bit long and tedious, especially when dying means you start from the beginning again. I think I got close to the end but kept failing when my pager went down.
