Why is it so hard to gamble everything away 😭! I had no funds at one point and was just waiting to close the deal but the graph spiked MASSIVELY and I made HUGE returns on the deal :'[.....

Loved the stock market hook—super clever premise for a game where you’re supposed to lose money, lmao. I think slowing the pacing down just a hair would really amp up the payoff when your predictions finally resolve, though. That slow-burn wait is half the fun of real trading anyway: the whole thrill comes from sitting with your guesses for a stretch before the market proves you right (or very, very wrong).

I love all the whole OS and the popups. Also don’t invest into WZRD, they are way too good. I thought i have best candidate to crash at 2000$ and then they jumped to 7000$. It is very enjoyable yet simple.

A refreshing take on the theme!
I am curious about how the game decides the stock behaviour behind the scenes, it has quite a range of behaviours it seems to swap between.
I do love how you've nailed the desktop environment, it feels just right. If you plan on a post jam patch, I'd love to see some extra apps or other things on the desktop to land the atmosphere.
PS: Pls put the F2 - CRT filter control in the description, I didn't catch it until my second playthrough.

I loved this game! I really liked ads and the OS theme. One small thing I would suggest is having a fast-forward or slow down option for the chart, letting me choose how fast or slow I want it to make worse decisions. In general, a great game!
I do appreciate the CRT filter option! It wasn't the easiest to read some of the text with it on, but it does give it the retro feel. I can't believe that my clicking had me gaining money >:(
STONKS
A bizarre experience that left me truly feeling like I hit rock bottom with style. This was so ridiculous but also SO charming, I felt immersed in the world, for better or worse, and it does a really good job and just sort of having you be used to being like this, like you're watching lines go up and down for 30 seconds and the screen is just completely unusable and everything sucks and it's the funniest thing of all time. Incredibly coherent aesthetic too, only complaint was the audio felt a bit choppy and the mouse for some reason always felt like it was lagging behind a bit, but overall a delightfully overwhelming time.
the html export sadly caused a bit of audio issues and input delay... but thanks for playing!!
