Great game !! Amazing soundtrack !
The frog is very charming <3
thank you!! Glad you liked it 😊
Music is a bit loud and character felt weirdly unresponsive at times but it's generous enough with the timer to where it isn't an issue, neat idea.
The concept is great!
I was quite baffled at the notion of a frog that can't jump in the land areas on the air pockets hahaha. I found the music and the gameplay nice.
I have some notes about the game. Some assets are rendering on top of the frog and the map causing some clipping. Also, some accompanying indicators to the oxygen level might be helpful in giving the feeling of urgency. Changes in animation such as struggling more or visibly out of breath and some urgency in the music might help in better communicating the feel.
Overall, I enjoyed the game. I see great potential in the game and the team. Keep it up!
Really liked the game, especially liked the music design and how it changed when you were under or above water!
This game had me gasping... for air...
Really cool concept and great gameplay experience! Nice jam entry :)
great music and sfx!! :)
A lovely little game! Little air pockets to recover your breath is nice. I also enjoyed the underwater music a lot!
very nice game, love the pixel art so clean, overall love it
I really loved the pixel art – this was gorgeous. The frog was so charming and cute and and the animation was so detailed. It really had a nice charm to it. I think the color palette was really great too.
I also liked the tutorial introduction drawings – they were really clear and easy to understand and didn’t at all get in the way of getting in and understanding the game. Plus the sound and music added a lot. Nice job.
Fellow frog enjoyer over here, your game is awesome. The music adds a lot to the vibe and made me stress even more when I was low on oxygen. Sometimes the character felt unresponsive, but it didn't stop me from enjoying the game. Great job !
The music picking right back up where it left off after re-entering the water is such a great feature! Good job!
Quite interesting idea! Good job! Audio changes between water and air are really pleasent!
It's brave to do an underwater game but you nailed it, loved the art and music, gave it that kind of ethereal feeling that good underwater levels always have. Good job!
Creative and fun idea, struggled a little bit with steering/turning the frog though.
Quite a relaxing experience even though I'm trying to keep the frog alive. The sound design is great and the game feels polished. Definitely makes you feel like a frog.
Really fun concept! Good use of the jam theme, I loved it overall, the art and sound design is top notch. I particularly like that the music changes depending on if you're underwater or not. It also felt really polished, I found no bugs.
If I had to give a couple suggestions:
-I would add some more differentiation to each area (I got a little lost sometimes)
-If you expand the game, maybe there could be obstacles/enemies/timed challenges. Also, the movement system is really cool! I would get some crazy speed sometimes around slopes, maybe building a mechanic around that could be cool
Such a creative way to use the theme, great game and great mechanics, I'm adding it to my collections
I like the air mechanic
Breath taking :D
no, you are breathtaking!
Really liked the art and music in the game, and extra details (like the music quieting when you go for air) really bring it together. I had a little trouble navigating with how much time it takes to steer the frog, but overall this is pretty neat!
