cool survival/building game!

I like the idea of it a lot, moving around the cavemen is very fun, hearing the silly sound effects is nice, though if you spam then they can be played like 20x really quickly lol. I liked the mechanics, but just kinda wish the gameplay had a little more variance. Cool game :D

Developer

Thank you! In an ideal world there would be enemy/troop variety and maybe even upgrades for the troops like armor/better weapons.

bro you made so much for the 4 day jam ! its very good.

Developer

Thank you so much! I wish I could have done more!

Great concept! Love the style and the overall goofiness, especially with the tribe voices!

I have to admit I got lost in the level a couple times, maybe consider adding a minimap or a marker as an improvement.

Luckily I prevented the apocalypse!

Developer

Thank you I added the voices on the last day actually, yeah a mini-map would help a lot

Very cool game. It is really well done considering we had only 4 days. I was sad to loose 2 of my tribe members pretty quickly. ;(

Awe haha, thank you so much for playing it!

Very funny and cool. I'm glad I went into the wormhole with all my gear. Cute and fun and big considering it was a 4 day jam. GJ!

Appreciate it <3 your game is awesome

Very impressive visuals

Impressive scale and quality considering the limited time!
I think adding a run button or a small minimap would make the experience better

Developer(+1)

Omg I'm sorry you can run with shift, maybe I forgot to put that in the control description my bad.

the "lemmings" style gameplay was fun. getting a big group together to attack an enemy does feel rewarding. as the previous commenter said the pacing and balancing feels just a touch too slow. i nearly got to the end of the thirty minutes (accidentally returned to the main menu with only ten minutes left haha) and i had numerous groups at the deposits but my material output was still way under what it needed to be. good work though its a neat concept

Developer(+1)

Thanks for putting so much time into it! Appreciate it :D

Balance/pacing is a bit bad for a gamejam game where people are expected to play lots of entries - it seemed like I would need to spend 15-20 minutes collecting apples and mining in order to win, and the enemies were so far apart and so easy there didn't feel like much challenge in bothering to do so, so it was just a grind.

Yeah I feel you, my goal was to build a "Complete" game rather than a micro-game in the traditional jam style.
