Nice relaxing atmosphere, but I was a little lost on what to do so I ended up just randomly choosing upgrades haha.
It would have been nice to have the option to full screen so it would properly fit in my screen without a scroll bar. I also noticed some of the pop-up text went off the screen without wrapping so I couldn't read it fully.
I wonder why there's no fullscreen? I had assumed itch would handle that part, but now that you say it, there's no fullscreen button.
There's a checkbox on the itch page settings you can check to enable the full screen button from itch. I also usually add a full screen option in-game too when I have time to add a menu (usually post-jam).
Thanks! Should be there now
Awesome!! I love sims and seeing a fun one like this made in 96h in Godot is inspiring to me :) The planet graphic is really cool. Agree with others, it's hard to escape equilibrium, but maybe that's just life xD
That's just life, and poor balancing ๐
I really enjoyed this base concept, but inevitably things always crawled to a stop with developing biomass. Might be a skill issue, idk lol
It depends on which skill tree you go down; e.g., the nitrogen skill tree is somewhat harder due to having a limited supply (since nothing really regenerates it). CO2 should be easiest since many disasters produce it. There are tooltips when hovering over the base skills that sort of explain this (but don't state it explicitly).
And I didn't go that deep into balancing, so it might just be a balancing issue ๐
i played this for like an hour very enjoyable
Wow, maybe I should make this into a full game ๐ค
Such a creative take on the theme !!!!!
Thank you! ๐
I wasn't expecting seeing a game like that, it changes of what i'm used to ! I like the concept even tho i would've loved some more interaction, great work !
Yeah, you get kind of idle waiting on things to happen. I really wanted to have some form of in-between interaction without turning it into a clicker-style game. Wasn't able to come up with anything in time and kind of forgot about it as well. But if I ever develop it further, there will for sure be something added ๐ .
Great Music! Really loved the idea of Disasters altering how your planet looks and behaves. Great Job!
Thank you! Credits for the music go to https://flowerheadmusic.itch.io/somewhatgood-bargain-bin
Very interesting concept i really enjoyed could see myself putting hours into this if you made it into a full game
Thank you! I unfortunately wasn't planning on working on the game (minor tweaks maybe), but if it gains enough traction, I'll fix the fonts, add options, and some icons to the skill tree (and some more skills/events) ๐
I adored the planet visual, it's so cool seeing it spin and evolve as events happen. The concept itself is also really creative, nice use of the theme!
Thank you very much! ๐
Absolutely awesome! Such a creative take on the theme! I want it as a wallpaper engine game haha
Thank you! I wish I'd had more time to add some more details and maybe balance the game a bit more :)
