Last game I've rated this jam.! (shame you won't be able to rate mine)

I was a bit confused at the start even with the explanation on the website.  But if you mess around a bit, you can figure it out. You already know about the text in the shop being a bit small.

Really fun game,

Well done!

Quite a novel concept. IT took me a while to figure it out (maybe thats just me) - I can see how this could have potential on mobile with some sleeker graphics!

Developer

Thanks! It’s not just you, haha. The game will really benefit from a tutorial and a bit simpler gameplay ’:)

It took me a while to find out how to control the main clock's hand, but after that I dominated the levels.

I didn't fully understand what the upgrades did nor how many points each tile gave tho.

Developer(+1)

Haha nice! Yeah, the game really lacks a tutorial heh

Very unique rougelike and very fun to play and with more time could be a really fun game

Developer

Thanks, I’m glad you liked it! I will most likely try to polish the game after the jam :)

Text was a bit hard to read given my screen but is a pretty clean game - maybe some opacity changes and it could give more clarity! where did you get the inspo from?

Developer

Yeah, the text size is a disaster heh. The main idea for the game just immediately came to mind at the start of the jam, but the rouglite elements of it were mainly inspired by Balatro :)

Really fun little roguelike, simple gameplay makes it more addictive. Really nice work

Developer

Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for a kind comment :) Yeah, the font size was a really unfortunate change right before submission

Quite a creative interpretation of the theme, and done well. I do agree, however, that the game needed a tutorial to teach the player some of the mechanics, as I discovered how to combo pretty late into the game. Still, pretty cool!

Developer

Thanks! 100% agree with that, I really wish I had thought about making a tutorial ahead of time, but it is what it is, will have to rely on the Itch description for now `:)

would have helped if gameplay was explained a bit more (<- still doesn't know how to play the game)

Developer

Agree :wah:
