The premise here is super endearing; I wish the memory captions themselves were actually dialogue between the two people, so we could learn more about their relationship and how they recall it together. Gameplay leaves a bit to be desired in terms of challenge and complexity, but I actually appreciated not needing to learn a ton of nuanced mechanics to play it.

Nice and relaxing game.

I found the concept and the overall atmosphere of the game really interesting. From a gameplay perspective, it unfortunately still lacks a bit of depth (especially for the theme countdown) , but the potential of the idea is clearly visible.
The narrative is well crafted and does a great job conveying the mood of the project, while the artwork and audio are definitely the strongest points.
Good job <3

The story is too wholesome, so I don’t want to comment on the gameplay too much ;;

(yes, it could be made more difficult by separating the layers out across the screen and letting them rotate freely, and maybe adding a lot of fake layers that don’t fit together with the 3 main ones to throw you off guard, but the game is more about the story than the puzzles, so it’s still great for what it is.)

You did great, congrats on making a game for the jam!

What a nice little story. Well done!

I really like the concept for this game, but I'm having a hard time making any progress at all. I'm going to keep trying, because I am really intrigued by the concept, but at the moment I feel like I am just spinning images, and can't fully understand what exactly I am trying to do. I think a tutorial level would be really helpful

Okay, I am coming back because I figured it out and want to give a better review, now that I understand the game! Once I was able to get it, I really enjoyed this experience! It was fun to sort of walk down memory lane and see how this person's life had unfolded in some small ways. I found myself wishing there were more levels to reveal a fuller story, but even as is, I really enjoyed it. I thought the art style was charming, and the expressive energy of the linework was reminiscent of the way memories actually feel.  I don't know if that was intentional or not, but I loved that touch. Nice work!

The game's concept of combining photos using yellow, red, and blue is really interesting.
The music selection fits really well.
A fun little game:)

If there were a bit clearer UI to show which layer i chose, i would have enjoyed it even more!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, could probably have made that a little more clear. Thanks for playing!
