How does your game fit the theme?
The goal of the game is to get to the bottom of a mine, using an elevator, by pressing a button that moves you down. You are counting down the floors, one by one, to reach the end. One enemy also requires you to look at it while it 'counts down' until it leaves.

The game is awesome, especially the atmosphere and the visuals. I really liked your interpretation of the theme with the experiment and the elevator - it was a cool idea.
The enemies have a nice variety, though I do wish there were even more monster types to keep things fresh. Overall, it was a really fun game to play.
I also noticed there isn't a web build. My game is Windows-only too - I decided leave out the web build and focus on Windows. After seeing how many people prefer playing in the browser, I guess I need to learn how to make a game that works well on both web and Windows.
Great job!
Thanks! I also realized I should've made a web build right after the deadline, but that's good to know for next year! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I might expand the game a little more (add new enemies, more buttons, etc.) but we'll have to see!
Very cool aesthetic. It would be cool if we could hold the click instead of smashing it
Thanks! For the button thing, weirdly enough one inspiration was cookie clicker (I wanted to do a reverse incremental, but thought too many others would do that, or it might be too boring) so it kinda has roots in clicker games, though I also get how it’s annoying.
Hey man! Sadly for some reason the game wont open for me, but i just gota say i love the simple premise and how it can be made good (judging your game from the screenshots i left a rating cuz you defo deserve it) if theres a way you could fix the issue after the jam id love to try it!
Thanks for the review! Could you specify what happens when you try to run the game? Also are you using windows, as that’s all I have the game built on right now. I’m also thinking of doing a web build, so maybe keep an eye out on my profile!
awesome!! :) you can hear your voice warming up as the game goes on which i thought was cool lol. anyways the game is pretty fun and i think it could be a cool little steam game if you give it some more time in the oven. also it kinda sucks theres no web build but i dont know anything about unity so like yeah lol
Thanks! Yeah, I was playing through other games and realized I should've made a web build, (it's the same as making any other build in unity, so it would've been easy, I just didn't think of it) though too late now. I'm thinking of continuing to work on it, because I still really like the idea!
The game is fun. There are moments of tension but in a good way. Narration is very good!
This was a lot of fun to work on! I couldn't fit everything I wanted into it, but I'm still really happy with the final result. I know the game ending is a bit lackluster, but that was one of the big things I ran out of time on. If you have any questions or thoughts about the game, let me know!
