A maths themed rogue like?! I really enjoyed this, super unique too! I struggled to understand the ship menu thing, but perhaps that was intended to be part of the puzzle and I was slowly getting the hang of it! ☺️
Thanks for playing! :)
Nope, the ship menu thing was not part of the puzzle. I might just have designed it poorly, especially for mobile.
I was on mobile - so if there was more info about what each option did I totally missed it. Honestly, I quite enjoyed puzzling out the ship menu though. Thanks for making it, it was a lot of fun ☺️
Really fun and unique concept! I wouldn't have thought id have much fun with maths but i stand corrected. The story is also quite cute and gives tge whole game a very cohesive feeling and the graphics, while sinple are very effective. Well done!
Surprisingly very very fun and unique concept :D
I regret not taking the fighting aliens sections of my high school math assessments more seriously.
-1, - 1, - 1, - 1, - 1, - 1, - 1, - 1, - 1...
I actually thought the art had its own flair to it lol — I really liked the idea! It was a cohesive experience from start to finish and I really enjoyed playing it!
Really smart! It's fun to play.
Neat! The execution is really good. The concept and artstyle is mid but this is a good programmer right here and I can see it. 8/10
Very nice! It kinda reminded me of some classic educational math games, and it had a nice narrative and audio
I think I developed all 5 softwares but nothing appended after that, don't know if I missed something. Anyway you took a concept that seemed simple but managed to make a really cool game out of it, having the possibility to choose your set of operations was a good idea, congrats!
Thanks for playing! :)
Nope, you didn't miss anything. Honestly that was a pretty big oversight on my part. Sorry 'bout that
Interesting puzzles. Depending on which operations you're given, it can either be really easy or difficult. No clue what the menu buttons mean, but choosing stuff randomly did the job. I liked the strategy in choosing which new operations you need most.
This was really fun and challenging trying to break the numbers down small 😊
As someone who hates numbers and has math anxiety, I actually found this quite enjoyable! Thanks Shadow9876!
Interesting game! I must admit I found the intro a bit long as I very much wanted to play.
I agree that adding a target (fewest possible tries) might help get the game even more exciting!
Good job anyways.
Making it easy to play on a smartphone is great, thanks for that!!
Very interesting game. Difficult, but definitely enjoyable
Cool and original way to fit the theme. Very fun to play.
Having a move number to target would be a great addition. And the optimal solution too, for try-harders
I hate math but great idea and good execution :D
Very interesting concept, but did find it get a little boring after a while of doing the same thing, I think forcing the player to get below x number of moves would help it stay interesting.
Thanks. :)
Somehow I completely missed that (even though I put a move counter there) :(
Such an interesting game! The hint box was really helpful since it showed the prime factorisation and operations results which made the game a lot more fun to optimize for the least moves. Though giving the "-1" and "/2" operator is way too OP since I can always generate an even number by using "-1" then use "/2" to cut it in half, it makes the game extremely trival since this strategy will always work. I like the concept since it forces me to make observations with numbers.
Also: please limit the division operator to give the players prime numbers only! Since giving me a "/4" operator when I already have a "/2" operator does nothing apart from just saving me one operation, I'd always choose another one so I have more chances to shrink the number
Rotation of numbers could probably be better rewritten into "shift right" or "shift left" instead of rotate. I love the concept!
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. :)
Also the /4 was intended for any other "deck" (or collection of operations) than the [-1, /2] "group", as I noticed it came up quite often in factorisation, but duly noted, said group is indeed overpowered as heck.
At first it's seems confusing.. the narrative is good and also the gameplay is good
