The gameplay concept is really cool! I love mixed feeling of it sometimes being more realtime, sometimes more turnbased. My main gripe at the moment is the audio design; When you're moving about fast, the noise of time starting and stopping gets really grating. Also a general lack of feedback on actions can sometimes make it confusing to tell when stuff is/isn't happening; Hitboxes on boss attacks especially. Otherwise though, lovely little game!
Nice concept! I love the storytelling, it really makes you want to find out more, haha! But I think there’s a lack of feedback on movement and the setting. I found it took me a bit of time to work out where I was supposed to go. But well done!
Thank you! We would've loved to have been able to polish the game a lot more but we had some complications that hindered the time we had to develop. Happy you enjoyed it regardless!
really creative core game loop!!
Thank you!
Some people make turn-based games, some people make real time games, you guys are doing both at once! Very interesting concept with lots to explore here. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it past the second boss, those flames at the side just destroyed me :(
A tad of a learning curve on the early fights. Glad you enjoyed it!
I like the game, ran into a bug where the flame boss got stuck in a wall
We sadly only noticed that bug after the release, glad you enjoyed the game regardless!
Love the art style
Thank you so much!!! It was very fun to draw!
Super cool concept and fantastic presentation, especially the courtroom at the start
Loved figuring out the boss's attacks and how to manoeuvre around them
Thank you so much! The art was very fun to make and I'm glad I crammed all that stuff in time.
I love me some courtrooms.
