This gave me a lot of Puffballs vibes, back from the 2020 game jam in how you manage the populations. The desk was really well done in the way everything is interactable with a cohesive art style.

Developer

Thank you.

I really liked the game regarding the movements in between things that felt very smooth! I must say I also didn't know what to do with the game and how to properly play it and would've appreciated more guidance in regard to how to play the game properly! Although I really think the idea was unique, and I liked the fact we balance bacterias by killing them, seems counterintuitive but creative!

Developer

Thanks, i really should have spent less time on the animations and transitions and more on the tutorial and explaining the game to the player.

Very creative and I thought the animations/interactivity of the desk and everything on it was quite cool. Unfortunately, I wasn't really sure what I was supposed to be doing; the game didn't seem to offer me much feedback on how well I was playing. I think with some polish and more player guidance this could be really interesting!

Developer

Thanks, tbh the tutorial was a last day rushed addition but i will update the game with a proper tutorial.

The visuals are wonderful. I really struggled to know what I was doing haha. After some trial and error I did manage to get some reactions from the numbers but I wasn't sure. What does the syringe do? I thought it might reset the numbers?

I had a couple crashes, and one time I got stuck on an ended day as in every new day I started was instantly ended?

Really want to understand how it all works, it looks really interesting!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, for the next big build after the jam i will rework the tutorial that explains everything more clearly. If you are still curious the syringe kills an amount of one type of bacteria.

I really liked the 3D modeling and visuals. Lots of fun visually. I didn't really understand the win condition and it was a bit tedious to navigate the screens for kinda confusing results. Maybe a bit more narrative and a better explanation of the goal would bring this up a notch

Thanks, i agree that most of what you have to do in game was poorly communicated and i will definitely work on that.

I find that one of the trickiest things in a game is UX in part because the concept is clear in my mind, and bridging that gap to make it clear to the user (without being too verbose, which is a habit of mine) is tricky!

Cool, I like the animations and concept. Hard to know when you have 'won' though, after day 1 I just ended days and the three types stayed pretty stable.

Developer

That was a huge oversight by me, somehow i forgot to add a proper wining and losing so that will be the first thing that i will fix.
